The Milo Foundation

Here's an afternoon of bliss: Go to the chocolate store down the street, Chocolat, and satisfy that indulgence, and then mosey on down to the Milo Foundation and pet and gush over adorable little kittens and puppies. And bigger cats and dogs. They are all so cute you could just die. My son can barely stand to leave. He spends the next ten minutes gasping, "They're SO DARN CUTE! They're SO DARN CUTE!!!" You just have to try it. You can even volunteer there to foster kitten families in your home, or to walk the dogs! more

The Milo Foundation just opened their new storefront at 1575 Solano Avenue recently. If you are looking to add a new member to your family, I highly recommend them. I adopted my cat 4 years ago from the Milo Foundation, back then, Lynne and Co. were running Milo out of her mother's home in the Berkeley hills, and they were only able to show the rescued pets at pet food stores such as Pet Food Express. We found our cat at the Solano Stroll. They take care of the animals very well at Milo, and you can even post a "Happily Ever After" story about your pet adoption too!
