WOW! Great place to eat. 11/11/2007

I've been several times. Good for either romantic dinner (plan on 1.5 to 2 hours) or a large group (plan on more time.) Restaurant especially good for special occasions. Management goes out of their way to wish you a good celebration. They also offer roses at pretty good prices that they will have on your table when you ge there. I am in the business and really feel that they appreciate us coming in.\r \r I highly recommend. Pros: Atmosphere, no rushing, service Cons: price more

Leave the kids at home 4/18/2007

This is a romantic and cozy restuarant. It is expensive ($25+ a person), but you are paying for a unique dinning experience.\r \r The tables are designed for 2-6 people. Do not bring large parties unless you are comfortable with the idea that you will not all be sitting together. Also LEAVE THE KIDDIES AT HOME. This is not for children, get a baby sitter. It is a fondu, this means skewers, hot metal, and boiling water.\r \r I have been here several times and have never been dissappointed by the service or the food.\r \r (I recommend the 3-cheese blend)\r Pros: Great atmosphere Cons: Expensive more

Horrible Experience on a Special Evening 2/10/2007

I have had to edit a few things out due to space constraint, but I will update this review if any actions are taken to correct our situation.\r This was our very first experience with your company, and I am sad to say, likely our last. First, we had a party of 13, and were seated at separate counter height tables that seated six people each. We requested lower tables, as several people in our party have physical conditions that make sitting up high like this uncomfortable. We had a single child in our party, who we made mention of at the time of our reservation, and also noted her age. There was not even a place to seat her at the tables, and the chairs were not safe for a three year old child to sit in unassisted. We were brought a regular height highchair, and considering how ridiculous the idea was, with her a few feet away from the surface of the table, her father ended up trying to eat with her in his lap. \r \r Our server, ""Jen"" was only present at our tables to deliver the separate courses. She reviewed menu choices and cooking instructions hurriedly and was quite rude.\r \r I literally cannot count the number of times that our individual water, tea, and sprite glasses remained empty for 5-10 minutes at a time. The last time my husband requested a refill of tea, our waitress poured and left tea that barely had a tint of color in the glass. Two separate times the burners on our table were turned off. We could not get our food to cook, and as a result our lobster and shrimp were either undercooked, or overdone and rubbery, our chicken pieces were dry, and not eatable. This happened again when desert was served.\r \r If this is the quality of service that your establishment provides, I will most certainly inform anyone who asks of our horrible service. There are many more places in Greenville to have this type of dining environment in which service meets or exceeds expectations. These are the places I frequent with my presence, my money, and my praise. Pros: An attempt at a higher scale dining establishment Cons: This attempt fails all points other than atmosphere more

Delicious, definitely go on special occasions! 7/22/2006

It is more expensive, but the food and atmostphere are wonderful. It's a very cozy environment, and they have great wines. Make reservations, and prepare to pay for good food! more
