The Melting Pot

I found the restaurant to be biased .. four of us( Asian Indian) were there around 5.30 for dinner on a weeknight and was refused seating ... reason being nothing available till 8.30 pm. The restaurant did not have a single customer seated at that time. One of the host was in the process of seating two people ahead of us. We were rather surprised since the other two did not have reservation either .We left and since something did not seem right, we called them from the car and asked if any availabilty at this point for four and was immediately told ""yes"", and that four can be seated at the bar area..an option, we were not offered, although we asked them repeatedly if they can squeeze us somehow . Tell me how am I suppose to intrepret this behavior? \r Needless to say that they lost out on some $200.00 check (LOL) more

this is a great place to eat if you want to spend time with people the food is great a little pricey but well worth it. you get a lot of food for your money. You cook your food in broth and it is not a good place for kids if they are under 8 I took my niece and she did great. You dont have to eat a full meal you can just the the chocolate if you would like or just the cheese. Pros: fun for a group of friends they have lady's night out Cons: alittle pricey more

I'm not sure if people knew or not, but Melting Pt is a fondue restaurant. A part of the greatness is that your cooking your own food. I go atleast 3 times a year. It may seem a bit pricy at first, but the truth is one entree can feed 2 people (I'm married to a college football player). Also, you can just go for the cheese or the chocolate with a salad. (Which are incredible considering they have their own homemade seasoning. The melting pt is a great place for a group. The ambiance is beautiful, the staff is friendly and its an experience that all should have. Pros: Worth the Wait Cons: Long Wait more

Food is awful. Posion is a good word for it because no matter how long you keep it in that ""water"" it will never cook right. Get ready for a stomach virus after this place because that is the only ""ambiance"" you wil see right after eating here. Pros: Fun, I guess Cons: Very expensive, Too Long of a Wait, Cook Yourself?
