The Med

oh my goodness! talk about dying about going to heaven. The staff are wonderful and very accommodating. I wanted some of their ice cream but we were headed to the movies. They offered to keep it in the freezer for me until afterwards. I stopped on my way home and picked it up. Now where could you get that kind of service. The atmosphere is very pleasant. The only thing that I didn't like is seeing one of the tables used for their office work. It's very distracting to have interviews and adding machines being tapped while you're eating lunch. This is a great place to eat. There is nothing fancy about the dining room; sort of a Denny's type atmosphere but with Mediterranean paraphernalia! No intimate little cubbyholes. No- come here to eat. This is a mostly a mixture of popular Greek, Italian, and Persian dishes. Some may be a little timorous of the cuisine, but the ingredients and method of preparation are listed, and even a 'meat-and-potatoes' person will find something quite tasty. Try the appetizer mixer and the ravioli! more

I have only ever been there for lunch. The Service has been Attentive, the food has been Delicious and Hot. I love the casual atmosphere, I am comfortable going there with friends or taking Business contacts. Overall, A+ Pros: Great Food, Good Parking more

Cafe Med used to be a favorite restaurant. Four years ago I wrote a review raving about the food, service, and ambience. The ambience is still there, but the food is only okay and the service is terrible. This isn't based on one visit; I've been there several times over the past few years hoping it was just a fluke...but no. The food isn't as good and the service is terrible. We bought a guest from out of town to Cafe Med and after waiting an hour our food still hadn't made an appearance! I've waited a half hour for a mediocre gyro plate. I hope that Cafe Med will clean up their act so I can enjoy going there again. Until then I'll get my Middle Eastern fix at the #1 best place for Middle Eastern food: Mazza! We went on a wednesday night and were quite shocked when the place filled every seat. Apparently they were having a belly dancing show and they aren't usually that busy on a weekday night. Despite the crowded and cramped seating that night, the food was good and the service was great. The wait staff is very friendly and warm. The food was tastey, and plentiful. The servings were huge and decently priced. Pros: service, food, price more
