Mother-daughter team in the kitchen produce the best value we've had in a long time: just $32.50 gets you four courses with attentive service.\r

Nice touch: the menu was personalized not only with our names, but the desserts were named after each of us (other menu items were named for other patrons that evening). The author obviously did some web research and used tidbits about us gleaned from the internet to personalize the dishes.\r

White bean soup with ham was extra hearty and very creative.\r

Salad with crab was super good.\r

But, the main dish of chicken and grits was superb!\r

Desserts were excellent.\r

Featured wine by the glass the night we were there was disappointing for $14. Lower-priced selection was a better choice.\r

Total bill was $100 for two, with alcohol, before tip. \r
\r
I cannot think of any restaurant in the high country that I would return to again and again--- other than the Mast Farm Inn.
