The only thing that the National Zoo in Washington has that the Baltimore Zoo hasn't are Pandas. The things that The Baltimore Zoo has that the National Zoo hasn't are too numerous to mention. The Africa exhibit is exceptional, the grounds are beautiful and there are rides for kids. A fun family day place. Pros: African Exhibit, Scooterbugs for Rent Cons: Tiger Exhibit, Very Hilly more

my brother-in-law treated me to a day at the zoo with my nieces and nephew. they loved the animals and the ability to get close up and interact with them. really a great place. my brother-in-law prefers it over the national zoo too. Pros: kid friendly Cons: crowded, expensive more

Who would think that such a good zoo would be hidden in baltimore? some really good exhibits- they do need some kind of transportation though, it is one long walk! more
