Pretty good bar food 7/3/2009

the 49'r is a fun spot to go once a year on a dive bar run. The food is typical (but good) bar food and the atmosphere is just what you would expect from an old midtown venue. more

Bar not a restaurant 6/30/2009

I always get a little irritated when a bar ends up in the restaurant reviews. Then to make matters worse, someone on the staff leavs a glowing review of the place as if it actually is a five star restauant. Well, sorry Charlie. I like the 49 for drinks but come on... dinner? more
