I went here for the first time a couple of months ago after dinner. The music was great and coffee is a little more up my alley than a drink.... Good place to go!

Worst

Sound is average, the acts are average, the wait staff is definitely average and the creepy, balding middle-aged manager dude seems more interested in “satisfying” his waitresses ...

Live music 6/28/2006

I've been to the Magic Bag many times since moving to the Detroit area. It's a good place to see local bands, and some larger national acts as well. I was there this past Friday, seeing The Satin Peaches from Detroit. They were amazing! They've remodeled in the past couple of years, and it was definitely a big improvement. The bar area is beautiful. They offer a large selection of beers, which I always appreciate! more
