Loon - The Original 8/5/2005

The Loon has been a Warehouse District in downtown in Minneapolis for multiple years now. It's great for breakfast, lunch or dinner. One of my all of time favorites is their 3 cheese grilled cheese sandwich. Of course, this is bar and one of the best at that in the Warehouse District. Great atmosphere and great location. It's a buzz all the time especially during games or shows at the Target Center. I have many fun memories at the Loon and I recommend it to all. more

Best Chili around! 7/29/2005

The Loon Cafe is a normal Sunday lunch place for me. The menu is wonderful and has many choices to choose from. I highly recommend the chili! You can get it as spicy as you want/need...it is outstanding and you will not be disappointed. We know take our children and they love it just as much. The grilled cheese sandwich is no ordinary grilled cheese and the kids fight each other for the last bite. High recommended for the whole family! FYI: I would only take the kids during the day during the weekdays and weekends...more of a bar atmosphere at nights. more
