The Lookout 4/16/2009

I understand that this is a popular place to head to in the area, and the food I had was all satisfactory, but when I was there it was VERY noisy and raucous, it was difficult to flag down a member of the wait staff, the table and chairs were sticky and covered in crumbs, and there was a sort of funky smell. A number of my friends swear by the place, and I have had great catered food at various functions done by The Lookout. I just seem to have caught them on an off night... I hope. I wont be rushing back, but I suppose I might consider returning later if it comes up. more

Dissapointing 6/1/2008

Sadly I found the service to be less than average. The first time I went to the Lookout I was expecting timely service for my family. We received our food more than a hour after ordering and no explanation why. We were disappointed but decided to try it again thinking it was some sort of fluke. We returned to the Lookout a few months later to find that nothing changed. Same slow service. No communication from staff. Same disappointing meal in the end. Pros: Parking Cons: Service more

The Lookout 5/20/2006

This restaurant is located amongst resident homes here in Maple Grove. I understand that it was there before the homes. This resaurant is known for their broasted chicken meals. They serve both lunch and dinner each day and have many hungry people going there. There is enough parking, which is very helpful. I only live about eight blocks from the Lookout, which is convenient for me. The food is excellent and reasonable in price. We have the Lookout cater meals at our apartment complex, at least once or twice a year. It is a must place to go for a wonderful meal. Enjoy. more

The Lookout has to be the best place in the Twin Cities area for the Chicken they serve. I have visted the place 3 or 4 times and the food was always excellent. The service is also very outstanding more
