I dined here last week with a friend that has gone to the restaurant for years and he really has enjoyed all of his past experiences. Unfortunately, this time our experience was not a good one. The salad was uninspired. Though The Loft is famous for the Coffee Crusted New York, our waitress talked us into another red meat dish. I had the Pork Tenderloin and my friend had a Ribeye Medallion special. Both dishes were improperly cooked, the service was less than ideal and very slow, and the restaurant was not even full. When we reluctantly spoke to the manager in the end about the quality of food and service, we were apologized to and only compensated with a small dessert and a french press of coffee. Possibly this was just an ""off"" night but a good manager could have made sure that we did not leave with a bad taste in our mouths! For the price of the meal, it was a huge disappointment.
Pros: View, Ambiance, Wine selection
Cons: Service, Food, Management
