So me and my inlaws went there for a Bday party, we got there early, and the dude, probably a adopted asian kid was checking i.d. and told my inlaw that there's a ""STRICT NO WHIT...

I went to Barfly this weekend and had an amazing time. The bartender was really nice and were fast at getting drinks even when busy. The place had lots of space to dance and places to hang out if you didn't want to be in the crowd. more

Great space to dance in and fun atmosphere. Music is boss, and drinks are heavy, better than wasting money on cheap weak drinks at many bars that I have been to. Club music hits the nail on the head and I like the different kinds of artist they bring in locally and not locally. more

Pretty fun place to go to with a group, has awesome house, techno, dubstep, and club music. Prices for drinks if you are 21+ are a little higher than the typical bar, but the drinks are definitely stronger then most downtown bars. So I'd say its worth the slight increase. They continue to have some pretty sweet shows in there venue areas including the Loft and Skyway Theater\r more

I went to Bar Fly for the first time last weekend and it was a lot of fun. All of the staff were really cool and the bartenders had great skills and treated all the customers really well! They had music playing throughout the entire bar and it got everyone to have a good time. Skyway Theatre is right upstairs from it and they had a show going on at the same time I was there so I went to check it out and it was incredible! I saw the Pegboard Nerds who perform dubstep style music and I came out of the show a fan of this place. I am definitely coming back more often. more

BarFly in my opinion is one of the best dubstep clubs in downtown Minneapolis! I like that they have weekly specials! I had been to Amplified Tuesday's and there are local artists from all over that come each Tuesday! It's a lot of fun! Their Chicken Casedilla's are just amazing to me. Def worth checking out! more

Went to The Loft for a regular club night with the girls. Had an AMAZING time!!! Got a couple of drinks and danced the night away. Good music and awesome people. Huge space to dance in and no problems. It was just a great night over all!!!! more

I got in pretty quick which is really nice on a cold MN night! I recommend going on a Saturday because the bar has any cocktail for just pennies! The front room has good music but I headed to the back room since it’s where most of the people were dancing. I had a good time and will stop by again. more

I went to Skyway Theatre for Skrillex, Infrasound 3D New Years Eve party, and Baauer. Every time was an awesome experience. Skyway has the best venue for edm concerts because its not too big and not too small. The sound system they have is also great. Travels through the room nicely and not overly loud or bassy..if thats a word. Multiple bar areas open so its easy to get drinks & free water. They have two bathrooms and places to sit and chill upstairs plus Bar Fly is right underneath so if you want to go chill and get away from the big crowd you can just stop by there. Will definitely be going back to Skyway for an upcoming concert. more

Barfly has great happy hour specials, I would recommend going on a Saturday night before 11pm. For $10 cover charge (which seems ridiculous, I know), you get in and get any drink for any coin! It is actually an extremely good deal. The music is also awesome, especially if you like to dance and are into dubstep! more

I went to The Loft for a couple of hip hop/skating/live painting events last year. It was a huge space, lots of room so you don't have to fight to get around people....like most clubs. Bar service was fast and friendly, it was nice to not wait 20 minutes to wait for service from a bartender who thinks they're a rockstar (you know the type)...it was a fun event, hopefully they do more like these in the future!!!!!!!!!! Lots of stuff going on at once, lots of stuff to do without lots of waiting times in between set times....I'd go again. and again.\r more

This is a sweet event that barfly has to offer every Friday! The red bull vodkas are for sure one of my favorite things!!\r \r Spinning the Wheel is always a fun to spice up your night and receive the drink specials every half hour! \r \r Only down side of barfly was the line for the bathrooms tends to get a little long but party on! more
