The Little Caboose Childcare and Learning Center

I do not recommend this day care at all!!! I feel sorry for the kids who attend there , teachers are so fake just like the owner, just reading the reviews of people liking this center , parents open your eyes !!!! Not everything that shines is gold!!! more

My family loves The Little Caboose. All of my kids have attended since they were infants, and I have nothing but positive things to say about the center and the teachers. They have taken the time to get to know my children and have treated them as their own. I have and will continue to recommend this day care to everyone I know. Some of my friends and family have also enrolled their kids there and love it too. Definitely worth checking out! On a side note, I was surprised to see the review by the former employee. I have never seen the day care without enough teachers, and I know my kids will have seconds and sometimes thirds of their food at lunch. I seriously question the motives of a "former employee" writing on here. I guess if that's the type of person they are then I'm glad they don't work with my kids anymore. more

I feel so bad for the children that attend this daycare. Take it from a former employee. I have seen the young and inexperienced teachers here ignore the children. They act very kind to your face than the second you wave bye to your son or daughter they stop acting like they care for your child. They also say there are two teachers to every room but most of the time they have the other teacher going room from room or they always call out. The only person at the daycare i would give credit to is the experienced teacher in the pre-k room. The director is very shady and fake she stays in the office all day on her butt and plays on the internet. They do cook breakfast and lunch however when it comes time for the teachers to hand out the food other kids pick off other kids plates leaving some still hungry and they wont give any extra food to them. more

My Son has been there since he was 6 weeks old and well how time flies he is turning the big 4. He has been nurtured, educated and loved all these years. They have helped him learn to play, share, and at the same time learn something new each and everyday. The staff is wonderful and take into account the whole picture so they can better care for him. The majority of the staff is still there that was there when he first started. They also attend college, information classes and/or other needed courses. So they are always updating their skills and knowledge. The office and center are always open door,, so you can always peek in , look on the security cameras, even talk to staff for updated information. It is just refreshing that the entire staff see him and the other children as one of their own. So thank you caboose for being there when i can not be. more

My son attends The Little Caboose, and he loves it!!! He has been there since he was six weeks and they are like a second family. The staff is very attentive, caring, and qualified. The center is clean, and constantly improving. I feel confident every time I drop my son off that he is in good hands. You can't beat it! more

I have two children at The Little Caboose. I love it! I think the price is comparable to other daycares around. The location is great! The staff is wonderful, and it is CLEAN!!!!! They just enrolled to become NAEYC accredited. They are always open to suggestions, and they have tons of parent activities. Overall, highly recommended!!!!! more

My child has been attending TLC for nearly a year and I have nothing but positive experiences to say about this facility. They take the time to get to know you, your child, and what your child needs. My child had a difficult time adjusting in the beginning so they worked with both of us to help smooth the transition and now my child loves going to school. I do agree that the some of the staff is young but they usually come later in the day as they are taking child care classes at different vocational schools. The tuition is a little steep but not much more than you would pay anywhere else, and they have included breakfast and lunch in the tuition fee. I do have a question for the person who wrote the prev. review...where can I access the information on the 2006 reports that was mentioned in your review? more

I would not recommend this daycare to anyone. Very high turnover and mostly unexperienced and young staff. The owner is lax on getting things done and often makes empty promises. Their tuition is on the high side and quality is lacking. Their files contain two investigations in 2006 concerning the mishandling of children. Not a good value. more
