I graduated from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, Yeshiva University, in May 1986. I was admitted to the New York Bar in January 1987. Since 1990, after serving as an Assistant District Attorney, Bronx County, I have concentrated my practice in the area matrimonial law. From 1990 to 1992, I served as a senior associate with the firm of Pobiner, London, Bashian & Buonamici, a Westchester litigation firm concentrating in the area of matrimonial and family practice. From 1992 to 1998, I was a partner in the firm of Bertan & LaRaus. From 2000 to 2013, I was a partner in the firm of Buonamici & LaRaus, LLP. Presently, I am a partner in the firm of Buonamici, LaRaus & Di Fabio, LLP. I have been responsible for and have extensive experience in preparing motion papers, memorandums of law and appellate briefs in courts of this State, including the Appellate Division, First Department and Second Department and the New York Court of Appeals.
