The Lasik Vision Institute

I went all over looking for the best price and the Lasik Vision Institute is by far the best price you are going to get! I traveled 2 hours from my home to come to this place! The staff is friendly and helpful, the price was right and the surgeon is amazing. The procedure was SO QUICK its crazy. No pain at all! I am a 21 yo who is a full time college student. I did the procedure on a Saturday and went to school on Monday with new eyes! I had my procedure done a little over a month ago and now I have better than 20/20 vision-my vision before the procedure was HORRIBLE. I cannot express how happy I am to have done this and with the LVI. I highly recommend going there!!! more

This place is great !! I called at least 6 places, and went to 3. They had the best price and the best most straight forward approach. Their prices was almost half what everyone else wanted. I called on a Thursday night, got seen the next day, and had my surgery the following Saturday. I am 6 days out of surgery and could not be more thrilled !!! more

I've had many expericences where dr. appt. ran late. Many dalays were more than 2 hours long. THIS IS NOT MY COMPLAINT. My mom had a 10.00am appt.for lasik surgery, we arrived at 9:30am at the Lasik vision Institute. We were called from the waiting room at 11:00am. Waited for another hour in the examinroom before stepping out to ask the nurse if her appt. was in fact 10:00 since we've waited 2:30 hours. I was shocked by her answer. Yes, she said, the doctor was just on his way to see you, we sometimes have emergency and we cannot PUSH OTHER PATIENTS off the table to keep your schedule appt. The doctors was in fact standing behind her listening to our conversation. Upset with nurse's attitude, I asked for a comment card, I was BLOWN away by what happed next. Dr. Michael Insler turn around to me and stated, ""What is the problem, you don't like the way we do business here, you people need to understand this is surgery we are talking about, you need to have patience and I don't want to do the surgery now"" He CANCELLED our surgery, and told us to go home and think about it. more

I had custom lasik done in February and I couldn't be more pleased! My vision was 20/20 the very next day! I had dryness which has subsided significantly. Very happy I'd did it. more
