Pricey 10/24/2013

I brought my car in for a blower motor and they quoted me $39 for the part plus labor. The total ended up being $208 and on the receipt it says the part was $147 which I know is not correct considering I could get the part myself for $28.99 on amazon. Plus they then charged me $20 for a diagnostic fee of seeing if it really was the blower motor. In fact their sign even says it.... But I did not tell them I wanted to know if it was my blower motor or not. I already knew it was, so I am not too happy with this place. I was going to bring my car in for other repairs but they just lost a customer due to their pricing flaws. more

Fast honest service 10/21/2013

I just moved back to the area and my daughter's car was having problems, they got it in the day I called. It was fixed when promised and less than what they quoted me. Will be taking my own car there for service! Friendly people, clean waiting area and great service! more

In spite of the extreme competence, it might be nice to see more "ethnic diversity" amongst the staff. Seems to be a preponderance of "Southern Rednecks" there. HA!!! more

They have always worked on my old Taurus and understand I am on a budget. When they checked my car last time they immediately knew it was a transmission problem. They didn't charge me just to tell me it was something they couldn't fix. Then they were nice enough to let my car sit on their lot while I figured out what to do! Amazing folks more

Completely Trustworthy 9/20/2013

As a single, female who is completely vehicle illiterate, I walk into repair shops with a big target on my forehead. I have no worries at The Kar Shop. As an employee of AAA, I can tell you there is a reason they are one of our preferred repair facilities. Great place. more
