Finally checked out The Jerk Shack at the Howard Hughes Center. Tried the Jerk Chicken Plate...loved the green sauce. It's a must try. Wasn't too spicy and was a large enough portion that I had some to take home with me. I also recommend the plantains. So good! \r \r The service was great! Ron was working the front & gave great advice on what to order. And greeted every customer with a smile. \r \r I also love the island music and laid back feel of the restaurant. Jamaican BBQ & Island Jams....what's not to love 1/7/2010

Stumbled upon The Jerk Shack last weekend after shopping at the Nordstrom Rack. The place caught my attention because of the island music & bright colorful atmosphere. Ordered some wings to go and loved them! Don't forget to try the different sauces. The people working there were very friendly & the food comes out fast. Pros: Fun Atmosphere & Tasty Food more

The Jerk Shack serves up delicious jamaican BBQ 12/11/2009

I just discovered The Jerk Shack in Los Angeles at the Howard Hughes Center. It's a fun spot...you order from the counter, grab a large comfy booth or a seat out on the patio and you can enjoy your meal while listening to island tunes. I had the Jerk Shrimp Plate & my friend snacked on the Jerk Shack Meat Pies. Pros: Quick, Tasty, Fun Atmosphere more

Juicy Jerk Chicken!!! 12/2/2009

My boyfriend and I were looking for a restaurant to grab a bite before seeing our movie at the Howard Hughes Center. We decided to try The Jerk Shack - the decor was very colorful, clean & they had great island tunes playing. \r \r The guy that took our order was very friendly and helpful in helping us decide what to get. The food came out quickly and was delicious!! I ordered the Jerk Chicken - it was so juicy & I loved all the sauces. I also loved their fried plantains. My boyfriend had the curry chicken & seemed to enjoy his dish too. I'll be coming back to The Jerk Shack the next time we shop or watch a movie at Howard Hughes. If you like sauces then give this place a try. I have eaten there and ordered delivery and both times loved it. Seriously though I think there is like 7 sauces and I tried them all. Some serious fire! Great plantains too. Love the Jerk Chicken! Pros: Delivery, Service more
