The owner of The Iron Gate seems to like all the things I like, but unlike me he's got the budget to buy it. So I go there from time to time to be among the objects that I would own if I could.
Not everything is expensive; the store offers a nice range of pricing, so you can buy a small "looks-like-silver" vase or prettily-wrapped bar of soap and feel special. There are items that are way out of my price range in the furniture half of the store: last time I was in, they had a $7,000 antique mirror, huge and ornate, leaning against the exposed brick. The expensive is displayed right next to the affordable, which is really the way decorating should be.
The Iron Gate carries brands like Shabby Chic and Two's Company, but a lot of their merchandise is one-of-a-kind. Don't be put off by how chic the place looks; the owner is very friendly and happy to give decorating tips.
