It really is called the Irish Pub 10/3/2010

I met this guy Will at a bar downtown and he said he'd be watching the West Ham game at bar in midtown and told me to meet him. When I asked him what it was called he told me the Irish Pub. I thought he was blowing me off but it really is called the Irish Pub. BUT I LOST YOUR NUMBER!!! I went this morning for the West Ham game. (Never been to a soccer game) (Jesus you people are really into it!) Packed to the walls but no Will. Was the only girl in there. Well besides me and the bartender Jessica - so atleast I had somebody to keep me company. Stayed for the first round. Showed Jessie the picture of Will in my phone and she took my number if Will ever does show and she didn't make me feel like a stalker, so... I know this is a review site but... hey. A nice bar by the way, not really my cup of tea but they make a potent bloody mary. more

Excellent Service 2/8/2005

This a great bar, not fancy or trendy, just quality drinks and great service. The bar tenders are extremely friendly and remember you and your drinks. It's a little small and very dark, but that's part of its charm. I'ts a great find in a tourist trap zone. Pros: Excellent service, stiff drinks, inexpensive Cons: can get very packed, limited seating more

diamond in the rough 6/5/2003

Given the tourist wasteland that is midtown, this place is a find! The barstaff is very friendly, the jukebox is great, and the crowd is fun. So what if it's a little small, lighten up! more
