I recently broke my back tooth eating Easter Candy. I though I was going to see Dr. Grant for a quick visit. The good thing is I was not going to loose my tooth, but it did need a crown. I feel very fortunate to have found Dr. Grant. I am a local attorney in South Tampa. At my new firm, I was recently given dental insurance. I looked at the list, but had absolutly no idea who to choose. I sent out a mass e-mail at work asking for assistance in choosing a local dentist. It was amazing the common concesious was Dr. Christine Grant in Hyde Park. After my first visit I absolutly understood the response. The staff and Dr. Grant treat you with the utmost respect and compassion. All my questions were answered, and I was presented with a treatment plan. (Yes I had a couple cavities!). Dr. Grant did the most beautifuly white fillings, and as an added treat to myself I had the Zoom! whitening done by the hygieneist. I have a smile that belongs on the cover of a magazine. Writing this on behalf of myself and my better half this time. Both my husband and I are new patients of Dr. Grants. Since becoming patients just a little less than 2 months ago, my entire life has changed. I've never been happy with my smile. Dr. Grant and her wonderful Staff helped me change my life. I now have a complete new smile, new outlook on life and I owe it to all of them. I can't say enough wonderful things about Dr. Grant's abilities as not only a doctor, but an artist. The staff she has is amazing. Amy, who assisted with my procedures was wonderful. Very soothing and Dr. Grant's right hand. As for Debbie, (Dr. Grant's office coordinator), she made the most wonderful impression on me that I've ever experienced in any medical office in all of my 47 years. She made me feel like I was the most important patient they have. I knew I could call her anytime day or night if I was having a problem. Which I can tell you made all the difference in the world to me. I have a very low pain threshold and extremely nervous about the procedures I've been going through. On my own, and at my mothers urging I needed to find a dentist close to school while away from home. My mom relayed the importance of continuing good dental hygiene. She provided me with a list of dentists that take my moms insurance and urged me to find a nice dental office close to school. I was very fortunate to find Dr. Christine Grant. The office is located very close to school and near the stores where I shop. My visit to Dr. Grant's office went very well. Unfortunately I had a few cavities. But, Dr. Grant provided me with a treatment plantn to give to my parents and the office coordinator reviewed the treatment with my mom over the telephone. It took one visit, and I had no pain. As an early Christmas Present my mom made me an appointment for the Zoom! Whiteing. My teeth look great. All my soriety sisters were impressed! I now look forward to having my teeth straightened with the Invisalign braces you see advertised on television. I am very excited. I highly recommend Dr. Grant. The office is very nice. The inevidible happened - after many years my dentist retired. I was a bit apprehensive about where my family and I should go. After casual conversations with friends and co-workers (keep in mind that everyone has the best doctor or the best dentist) but I was exteremly surpirsed when more than one person recommended Dr. Christine Grant in South Tampa. I further researched to assure that she accepted my insurance - and I was happy to find that she was preferred provider for my insurance. I was the first in my family due for their cleaning appointment. The trip to South Tampa to Dr. Grant's office was worth it's weight in gold. My first contact with the office was pleasant. My first vist was great! I had a one hour exam with the doctor, a cancer screeing test, and cleaning. I was given numerous pamphlets on dental health, and a treatment plan for work needed in the future. In the past two months my husband and two children have had their dental checkups. We are all extremely happy. Dr. Grant treated us all with kindness and professionalism. The office is equiped with state of the art equipment. The office was extremely clean, and has the charm of Old Hyde Park. The doctor and staff were kind and welcomed us from the time we walked through the door to the time we left. It's been awhile since I've had the opportunity to obtain dental care. I always found an excuse not to go. I have to work, I don't have inusruance, no babysitter, or just no time. Unfortunately the inevidable happened. I had a tooth ache. I was not quite sure where to go, but a couple friends recommended Dr. Christine Grant located in Hyde Park. When I spoke with the front desk she verified my insurance, and explained that the first visit would take two hours. I had x-rays, a 1 hour exam with Dr. Grant and a 1 hour cleaing with the hygienist. Dr. Grant recommended that I needed to see an endodontist for a root-canal and return for a crown to save my tooth. Dr. Grant immediately sent me to the root canal specialist, and I was instantly out of pain. I returned to Dr. Grant a week later for my crown. I experienced no pain, and I have the most beautifl crown. Everyone was great! What a great team!. I highly recommend Dr. Grant and her wonderful staff. I have been afraid of and have avoided going to the dentist all my life, until recently one of my wisdom teeth was hurting so bad that it has been keeping me awake at night. I decided to go to Dr. Gramt after I read the nice reviews at Citysearch. After I sat in the chair, she was so patient and friendly that I felt "safe". She numbed me up with very little discomfort (I have VERY low pain threshhold), most amazingly, she took out three of my wisdom teeth in a very short time. I did not feel anything, in fact, I did not even know the teeth were out until she told me. I was literally sitting in the chair with my jaw dropped and eyes wide open when she told me it was done. I thought she was joking. If I knew it is going to be this easy, I would not have make myself suffer all this time.... I am so relieved that I am not in pain anymore, I am most happy that I am not afraid of going to the dentist anymore, I can 't describe how thankful I am. Dr. Grant is very kind and understanding. She lets you know what treatment needs to be done and steps on doing so. She cares for patients as parents care for their child. Your dental health is the most important thing. The staff welcomes you with smiles and talks to you like you've been a patient for years! If your afraid of going to the dentist, this is the righht place to go. There is a home-like feel to the office when you walk in, and you dont get a nervous stomach when you walk in like other dental offices. Your first visit is 2 hours. And for future visits the office schedules each patient enough time so the staff is not hurried, and you get outstanding care. I highly recommned Dr. Grant. With Compassion, Understanding and Kindness. That is how I was treated. I recently became a patient of Dr. Christine Grant. I was referred by my mother who has been a long-time patient of Dr. Grant. Over the weekend I experienced a tooth ache and my face was swollen. I called Dr. Grant's office on Monday, and they were able to accommodate me and see me later in the day. I was very impressed with the treatment, and kindness that was extended to me. Dr. Grant adjusted my bite and immediately I was out of pain. I have never been so impressed. I just had ten of the most beautiful porcelain crowns delivered by Dr. Grant. I love my new smile and could not be happier. My family and friends have noticed not only my new smile but also my new positve outlook. Originally, I had 10 porcelain crowns done on my upper teeth last year and I couldn't wait to do my treatment on the lowers. I want to thank Dr. Grant and her staff for my brand new smile!!! When I first entered Dr. Grant's dental office the staff and Dr. Grant made me feel very welcome....the environment there is awesome. It is extremely nice and clean. The first visit consists of a 1 hour exam, x-rays and cleaning. During the first visit Dr. Grant determines if any future dental work is necessary. Dr. Grant and staff explained everything to me. When I say these people will do anything to help they really do. I highly recommend Dr. Grant if you need dental work done. I now have the most beautifuly smile, and I owe it all to Dr. Grant. I have been avoiding the dentist for years. I had an emergency and was referred to Dr. Grant. She saw me that same day I called and immediately got me out of pain. I was referred for a rootcanal that same day and a crown one week later. I never felt any pain and really was impressed at how caring her staff were. Dr. Grant even called me later that night at home to make sure I was doing well. I've seen crowns before that looked unnatural. Being new to the area, and having to establish a new doctor and dentist I was a bit nervious. I contacted my dental insurance carrier and Dr. Grant was a preferred provider in the network.
