I think more so than the art, the gardens are the real attraction here. Sure, it's nice to comtemplate Blue Boy and Pinkie for awhile (and convenient too, as there's a bench in the room and they are installed directly across from one another), but the real treat is outside in the opulent gardens.
My favorite is the Japanese, where one can spend an endless amount of time just soaking up its lush, green feel. The desert is interesting as well, though it's too hot for long strolls on summer days. The rainforest area is good, as well and authentic in mid-winter downpours.
