The Homestead

This place is terrible. The actual living accommodations are over priced. But what is truely terrible is the management. They forget appointments, cheat you out of your money and are NEVER actually working or around to help you. After leaving The Homesteads, they tried to charge my roommate and I an extra months rent ( past our signed contract 6- month lease) and would not give us back our deposit even though on our move-out day they said we could get it back. When we tried to call them to talk about it, they would not answer and when they finally did they hung up on us. They already had one law suite against them for fraudulent behavior and cheating people out of their money. Do NOT move here...it's not worth it. Also, their maintenance people are very inappropriate when they come to fix a work order. Very unprofessional! I would give this place NO stars if I could! more

DO NOT MOVE IN HERE\r I have live here for almost 2 years now, the first 1year was ok. As long as you park your car in the right spot it wont get towed. My upstairs apartment had a roof leak..took management 3 times to ""fix it"" only to have it leak again. OK they moved us to a downstairs apartment. I renewed my contract to only regret it even more. I have 2 cars and a garage for storage, in 5 months both cars have been broken into AND my garage was broken into. This was taken to management, who has done nothing, and, from what I have heard, will not do anything due to ""insurance"". The community looks nice, but management stinks, security stinks, maintinance stinkss well the whole gall dern place smells bad! I would expect this in Los Angeles/South Central/Watts/Easl LA etc but not here...especially for how much I pay, I expected more. Pros: Moving out Cons: Everything more
