..but I can't stand this Home Depot. After a horrible experience ordering a new front door system, that is still going on, I vowed I would not go back into this HD again. It's been eight months now and we have found everything we needed at the home center across the street. The complaints about this particular HD are the place is a mess and yes, I know it's a warehouse, but if they want you to shop there, the least they could do is keep the aisles somewhat clear; and the employees are never around when you need something. I would prefer giving my remodeling money to Lowe's, but that's just me. more

Home Depot Special Order was anything but... 3/24/2006

Last July we bought a door system for our house and after endless delays, calls to the manager and having the installation guy out four times, the door was finally complete in January. What's that, five months after we ordered it. It was nothing special and we weren't picky, but HD doesn't seem to know what it means to order the proper thing. I haven't stepped foot back in the store, although that doesn't really matter to them. Give me Lowe's anyday! more
