As a woman who owns her home, I find HD to be deadly. We bagged ordering a sliding door when the salesman lost our order, was not present upon three visits, acted annoyed when we found him on one visit, called me by the wrong name, and asked me to return a third time - in person, during a four foot snow storm, after refusing my credit card, which was paid in full. So they shut off my credit? Yes. I was also told to "go to the post office" to get a 10% off coupon - they wouldn't help me with a discount on a $3000 item without paper, which was NOT at the post office. The worst thing I've experienced is my Wilsonart countertop, a straight slab, has a 6-9 week lag time. We paid for it weeks ago and there's been no call or follow up. I've changed to Lowes or to local hardware stores. I'd rather pay a bit more to be treated with some respect.
