I waited a good amount of time before I wrote this review. I wanted to take my time and think about the situation. First, I read about some of the bad reviews regarding Northwest Hills Pet Clinic on this site before still calling and going to this Vet. That was my first mistake. So why should I complain, they told me not to go there. Well at the time, I just wanted to spay a cat, how hard or costly can that be? Well,I learned my lesson. So again, to my fellow Austin residents, DO NO GO TO THIS VET! So how can this Vet botch a simple spay and screw the customer? They can make a mangled zigzag incision on the cat (you should have seen this) which harbored bacteria causing an infection for which this lovely Vet charged $50 for a $10 (5x actual cost) bottle of antibiotic to treat the infection they caused! During the filling of the paperwork, they were very pushy with all of the ""extras"" which I refused. Based on the response to this infection, I believe this is how they make their extra money. I think this Vet should be investigated. Feel free to contact me about my review. Thanks.
Cons: Overcharging, Very bad incision
