Home Depot Lockport door installation STAY AWAY! 8/13/2009

Do not have anything installed by this store. They use the same contractor for all installs and they are terrible. A comedy of mistakes, terrible install, door doesn't lock right, they had insulation foam all over my family room when they replaced a sliding glass door. Steve, who heads the install is just terrible. Rudy, the Home Depot rep is useless. STAY AWAY!! 3 months I have been trying to get them to fix this mess. I hired a contractor to make repairs, going after Home Depot to pay the bill. I had to give them one star, the system can't deal with zero...Jeff C. more

NO HELP HERE 11/17/2005

When this store first opened they were very helpful and responsive to questions. Now, I can find anyone! I travel throughout the store to locate an assoiciate and ask for help just to hear ..."that is not my department" This store is way to big for the customer to possibly find everything they may need especially in the case of something small like a certain nut or bolt. There are only certain items marked down ie damaged, left overs or out of season etc. They send out flyers but the prices in the fliers are the prices that the items are regularly....not on sale. PROS: location, hours CONS: poorly staffed with unknowlegeable people more
