Since there aren't many "wood" stores around my area, i'm stuck shopping here. BUT -- I personally think it's very cheap and reliable. Great service & support.

Is probably a great place to shop if you know exactly what you want and can find things by yourself, but if you need service, then good luck! \r \r I have a real difficult time...

Leaks 10/23/2010

Home Depot Reroofed my parents house. My father thought the salesmen was a "nice guy". Three weeks later the roof leaks. Home Depot has done nothing. Hire a local concrator, Not Home Depot more

Is probably a great place to shop if you know exactly what you want and can find things by yourself, but if you need service, then good luck! \r \r I have a real difficult time at the Home Depot. Seems like there is never anyone around who is qualified in that department. (I find an employee, but that employee says he can't help me, that I have to wait for the employee who is in charge of that particular department.) One time that employee had just disappeared. They paged him, I waited ten minutes and finally left.\r \r So, I go to Lowe's in Brunswick or Downeast Building Supplies. more

Home Depot in Topsam has a good atmosphere! 7/9/2005

I like the home depot in Topsham because it seems to be a lot less crowded than the one in Auburn. Going the extra distance is worth it for good customer service, new clean store, and the added benefit of finding things that are in stock. The Home Depot also seems to have good promotions and a knowledgable sales reps. more

Home Depot - Do they have employees working for them?? 5/11/2005

I shop at Home Depot quit a bit i think it's because my husband likes that store so much. He could spend all day in there, but any how it's a great store to go to for any home repairs. It's kept very clean for being a hardware store. The only down fall is that either they don't have enough employees there or there employess don't like to wait on people. It seems like i can never find help.\r They do have fairly cheap prices! more

Can I get some help???? 4/16/2005

I' have only been to Home Depot in Topsham a couple of times.But that's because I dont seem to have the best experiences there.I can never seem to find an employee when I need one.And the plants in their garden center are horrible! I learned this the hard way by purchasing flowers,hanging plants and roses which all died shortly after.I got better results from a rosebush that came from the grocery store! Now if I need anything form Home Depot I ask my husband to go get it.He loves wandering around the store looking for stuff. PROS: Proximity CONS: Invisible emplyees more
