I've been to a few B&Bs in my life and this was not one. The only difference between it and a Motel 6 is that it's a house. The innkeeper is very nice although a bit disshevelled. The entrance is set up like a motel and the main house reeks of curry. You can barely see the Verrazzano bridge past the trees from the Verrazzano room. There was no soap but a half used bottle of Wyndham Hotel's shampoo. There was no phone in the room but a payphone downstairs. The TV only had 3 working channels. The mix of furniture would not even be classified as eclectic but used, flea market quality. The breakfast was ""continental,"" not the usual homecooked fare. I keep nicer bedsheets at home. The house is in much need of restoration. This was the worst B&B I've ever been to.
Pros: view of water, lots of windows, quiet neighborhood
Cons: bad value, bad location, no amenities
