Hangar On The Wharf is awesome 12/3/2009

I love the Hangar on the Warf for the atmosphere, food, and the beer! They have pool tables upstairs and a bar area, but a restaurant area as well! The food is really great and you can't beat the view more

The Hangar is a great place for a good beer, good food, and a beautiful view. On the water, my favorite by far is watching the float planes give tourists rides. The staff is friendly. more

The hangar on the Warf is one of my favorite places 6/10/2009

I love going to the Hangar, not only for their amazing food (try the Halibut fish and chips) and selection of beer, but for the view. It's right on the water and you get to see all the action of the cruise ships and float planes coming in! The staff is great too. more

AWESOME view and service! 5/20/2009

Just go and experience this place! It has some locals that hang out there and u can see the channel from the front windows. Great place to walk to if you're staying down town. Pros: Great Food!!!! pool tables are upstairs! more

  • Established in 1996 in Juneau, Alaska, as a premier waterfront restaurant, The Hangar on The Wharf specializes in seafood and Alaskan beer. It is located in Juneau's historic Merchants Wharf Mall, which used to be the home of Alaska Coastal Airlines in the 1940s. The restaurant offers a full range of catering and banquet services for weddings, reunion parties and business meetings. The Hangar on The Wharf organizes live music programs on weekends by various musicians from all over the country. In addition, rock bands play on Friday and Saturday nights. The restaurant also features a pub that offers more than 100 types of beer, including 20 on tap. Its menu additionally includes salads, sandwiches, pasta, burgers, appetizers and entrees.
