What a unique place to shop. I love the fact they have experienced help who are alway willing to help if needed. At the same if you are just want to browse they are fine with that as well. I have a business myself and know how hard it can be to find a good employee and they have several who are outstanding. If you are looking for a special gift this is the place. They have an eye for bringing in new and different things. I tell all of my customers that are new to the area to check this place out. It's the best kept secret we have in Brandon. more

I love this store. It is the first place I look when I want a unique and personal gift. It is a nice place to browse, full of many unique and beautiful things. As for the other reviews about the service, I have never received anything but great service there. The staff is always very friendly and welcoming to me. While I do buy things there, I most often go to just browse and look at all the pretty things. I often have my two young children with me and they have never made us feel unwelcome. I take the note on the door as a humorous, light-hearted reminder that this store is definitely not a place for unsupervised children. I definitely will continue to shop here and would recommend it to anyone with great taste! more

When I first moved here in '04, they were in the little tiny house and I was thrilled with all the unique thing they carried. I have enjoyed purchasing from them and getting to know Roz and Matt. I have found the ladies to be kind and helpful whenever I go there! I have recently started building a Brighton charm bracelet and I like to go and look at the different charms that I might purchase and they are so patient, letting me look and helping me put things together. I also love the ladies in Vera, they are very sweet and helpful and know all about their products. For gifts for others or even a treat for myself, I love the Green Boutique and recommend it to all! more

I've been a shopper there for 20 years so obviously I like the shop (especially their old store). They have great buyers and I always find something lovely and unique, as well as Brighton, Vera Bradley, and cute shoes. more

The staff in this store is so snotty it's ridiculous! I love to shop there simply b/c they have really unique things to buy and look at. I can't stand the fact that the staff pesters you to death about ""Helping"" you with something instead of just letting you experience the store and letting you explore. They follow people around like they are watching to make sure you aren't a shoplifter. I am positive they have lost customers doing this. They almost lost me but, I like their items, so I deal with the rude staff. First thing you see when you walk in the door is a sign that reads something to the affect of : All children will be given a cappuccino and a puppy. I have to agree with this one. I went in there a few months ago, stood at the counter and there were two clerks there chatting away. They even looked at me, continued chatting. BUT, what I did notice.....another customer came up to the counter, dressed very nice and vaboom...she gets waited on right away. I was only in T's and jeans....guess I looked like I couldn't afford much in that store. A third clerk came up and asked if I needed help. Did I look like wanted to stand at the counter only and gawk at the chattering clerks? Needless to say, with the 3 VB items that I was going to purchase, I placed them down on the counter and told the third clerk that I changed my mind. I went down the street to Greg's Hallmark and every one of the clerks said hello to me, asked if they could help in any way and I was able to get 2 of the VB that I needed and they were helpful to make sure the third item would be in their store within a week. Greg's Hallmark wins big as far as friendly atmosphere goes.....glad to do my VB business with them anytime. No matter how you are dressed....they welcome you. I notice that in a few stores.....the sharper you look, you got the moola! Hey, even the plain janes have moolas too, but Green Boutique staff doesn't realize that. Their loss, Hallmark's gain. more

I've been in a few times for Vera Bradley, some jewelry items and the odd/unique gift item. Pros: Different unique things Cons: tends to cater to a more upscale crowd more

This Boutique has the neatest things, from jewelry to shoes, Vera Bradley, Brighton, Life is Good to mention a few brands, if you want a unique, neat gift, this is the place to go. If you ask they will put your gift in one of their bags with tissue paper and a ribbon.... If they ask for your ID, remember they are only protecting YOU, the customer. The only negative I have to point out is that the clerk has to write every item down on their little pad, add the total in a calculator and that is how they check you out, but there is usually 2 or 3 ladies behind the counter. It is indeed a gem in our neighborhood !! more

I am so sorry that this person had what she feels is a negative experience. It sounds to me as if it was simply a miscommunication of intent or purpose. I have been a customer of the Green Boutique's for almost 20 years and have NEVER had one single negative experience with ANY of the sales clerks. In fact, they have ALWAYS greeted me with a friendly smile. And, even when not making a purchase, I am thanked for visiting the store upon my departure. I believe that the experience is what you make it . . . as it is always in the attitude. I especially appreciate what the store gives back to the community . . . especially through the American Cancer Society . . . as well as the other fund raisers and community activities that they both organize and support. The Green Boutique is an awesome store not only for its unique inventory, but also for its wonderful owners and staff! It is an asset to our community. I went to this store several months ago with my children in search of a popular birthday gift (Vera Bradley). I place most of my orders online at Among the Flowers, but wanted to let them pick out a gift locally, or give them the option of a gift card, since this store is known for its large selection of Vera Bradley. Finding a bag was not difficult at all since the girls knew what they wanted. The problem came at checkout. First of all, while I stood and waited patiently at the counter, two other women were asked if they were there first, as if I was not standing there. I did not say anything (I should have), but another customer spoke up and said that I had been waiting. The incident that prompted this review was when I handed the older woman behind the counter my Bank of America Debit Card and she asked to see my driver's license. The debit machine sits next to the register and is handed to you for your pin. When I asked if I could simply put in my PIN number for my debit card, her response was, ""Anyone can steal somebody's PIN. I need to make sure this is your card."" In an effort not to embarrass my children, I politely pulled out my FLDL and she said, ""See, it is yours."" My only regret was that I did not address her improper behavior in front of my children, give her the merchandise, and leave that store empty handed. Don't worry, I have vowed to never be treated this way again!! If you have to purchase Vera Bradley locally, go to Greg's Hallmark. They are always very friendly and every customer is treated the same whether you are buying a $.99 card or a $125 Vera bag. Also, head to Brandon Mall for your Brighton needs.
