Food is pretty good. Spinach pie is good, salads are good. Family run place. Tough parking on street. Pay for parking cause the town LOVES to give tickets. more

The Greek Place is back open - they moved a block away, between 96th and 95th on Harding St, to a cozier location. I just got a gyro for lunch today and the place was PACKED. Obviously people missed their food while they were relocating. more

Tasty Lunch! 8/11/2010

We were driving around area and we saw this restaurant without looking for it. We decided to give it a try since we could see that the place was packed inside (around 2pm) We parked across the street with no problem. It was busy and the lady servers were very plesant and even though we waited a little for our salads it was worth the time. ( As I waited I had a chance to see what the other guest had ordered and the plates of salad and salmon looked great) . We were very happy that my fiance ordered another plate of Grilled Octopus! we've visited many Greek restuarants in the past and I know when it is REAL GREEK FOOD. My Greek Salad was very fresh and crisp & the octopus was hot and very tasty! The prices are great! I will visit them again and I hope you will too. more

as a native...i have been eating at "the greek " for over 25 years. it is simply great food and good prices. it is a local hangout. whenever you go there you see someone that you know. the greek salad is great...the hummus which is homemade is amazing. the fresh pitas are great and so are the meat kabobs. \r it is a true locals hangout!!! more

The Greek Place Rocks! 4/15/2010

The Greek Place was sooooooo good. Went last night for the first time after passing by it a million times before. Our waitress was super nice & accommodating. The food was out of this world. I already love Greek cuisine, and this is probably among the best I've had. Everything was fresh & homemade. The meatball appetizer is absolutely the best I've had at any Mediterranean restaurant. Main courses were plentiful and delicious. I can't recommend this place highly enough. You must go!!! Pros: Great food, great service, healthy & full belly! Cons: Parking can be a minor hassle more

Don't agree with praise 2/19/2010

Waitress told us the fish of the day was a mediterranean sea bass. Menu listed fish of the day as $18- charged me $26!! for a fish on a plate. No seasoning other than a lemon. They said they would do a burger for my son even though only on lunch menu- $15!! Fries were dripping in oil. Waitress told us they were out of chicken and steak kabobs. Chicken AND steak?!?! Then waitress serving table next to us said they were out of chicken kabobs- but they had steak!! Yea!!!! My wife couldn't eat her mousakka- Hunts tomato sauce with packaged machine shredded cheese surrounding it. Pros: Good tzatziki Cons: Service confusing, overpriced more

Gyros are the best i have ever tried!! The hummus and tsatsiki, keftedes are delicious, and ofcourse with a Mythos. Pros: best gyros & kabobs Cons: not open on sunday more

Awsome gyros, salads are fantastic, I love the Greek burgers!!! The wine list has the best Greek wines I've ever found. I love watching them light up the saganaki, Greek cheese thing. I even met Kevin RUdolf there a few times!!!!!!!!!!!!! Cute little family buisness, very friendly. All the locals love it and recomended when I asked about what restaurants were good around here(: more

Best authentic Greek food!!!!! 6/21/2008

Best Gyros & Tzatziki I have ever had!!!!! You have to try the fresh Whole Snapper and Mousaka they are delicious. The new place is beautiful you feel like you are in Greece, and everyone is so friendly. I love the outdoor seating, you can even just have a drink at the bar. And all the homemade dessert are mouthwatering!!!! Everyone needs to try this place the food is fresh and light!!!! more
