Awsome selection 5/29/2011

The customer service is very informative and helpful. I enjoy the wide selection of plants as well as being able to just drive up and have my car loaded with dirt or compost when I buy large quantities. The garden tchotchkes are kind of overpriced but its good to window shop them. The plants are well cared for and high quality, all the plants I have bought there are long lived. I enjoy shopping here and recommend them to anyone who loves gardening. more

The best garden shop in the city 12/15/2005

Every garden shop should aspire to be what the Great Big Greenhouse is. My only complaint is that they have had to move to the other side of town where I cannot go except rarely. The selection of plants is outstanding, from rare perrennials to the most common of annuals. Baskets, soil, pots, and garden ornaments. I miss my annual springtime visits! more

Large selection of flowers and plants 8/5/2005

This greenhouse has a large selection of flowers and plants. There is also a very nice selection of outdoor trees, shrubs, and flowers. We enjoy going here just to browse. They have a gift shop area and floral arranging. They also offer mulch. I'm sure you can find some unique gifts or plants for your yard here. more

Good place to buy plants and yard ornaments 8/3/2005

The Great Big Greenhouse is just jam packed with plants, trees, flowers etc. and has a lovely selection of yard ornaments -- even for someone like me who doesn't really go for yard ornaments -- I just couldn't pass up the rusted aged St. Francis -- He's perfect in my back yard and was a great price! The staff is very knowledgeable about what they are selling and will help you with whatever you need -- more
