I don't know why this restaurant is listed under Italian, since it's most definitely American. \r

That being said, it's very good, not great, though, in my opinion, but in terms of value, amazing (sorry, not awesome: that only refers to birth ,death, and sunrise and sunset.) . I don't currently live in Buffalo, but visit my mom a couple of times a year and we like to go here. She likes to take my cousin's grandchildren here for the fish tanks, which is a warning: IT IS VERY LOUD AT PEAK HOURS. (Filled with kids if you don't go at the right times. Right times means early supper, late lunch.)\r

That being said, the food is VERY good for the price. We used to go here only for lunch (everything is good, soup, sandwiches), but I've found dinner an even better choice. Dinner fare, we often would go to a ""fancier"" place in Kenmore where I enjoy veal; here, it's half the price and, frankly , better. Tender and subtly spiced. They make their own rolls, and if you're lucky you'll get the dill-spiced, which run out fast. Deeelicious. \r

They also have some great Buffalo-style promos: Birthday Club (free meal) and a regular's promo where if you go x times you get a free meal (off already amazingly low prices). Also be aware, their portions are huge so get the smaller size if you don't want to become king sized!\r

The place is popular, so parking fills up fast. Enjoy!
