Not the largest I've been to, but one of the best! 4/9/2006

I have had the pleasure of visiting many many museums throughout the United States and around the world. I spent 20 years in the military as well as 20+ years as a dependent. During the past 40+ years I have been to some very large museums and they were great! The Grace is a fairly small, but a giant of a museum. I say this because of what the Grace offers the people of West Texas and Abilene. I have seen great works of art from all over the world without even stepping out of Abilene. I applaud the curators and staff of the Grace Museum for providing such wonderful exhibits. more

The Grace Museum 4/9/2006

The Grace is a great place to play, learn, and appreciate art. The entrance fee is minimal for the education it brings to West Texas. Their music wall is a hit with the kids and their children's area offers exhibits for all ages to learn through doing. The different exhibits throughout the museum offers things not typical to West Texas and it is a great family educational outing. more

Fun place to spend the afternoon! 12/31/2005

As other reviewers have noted, the Grace really doesn't compare to musuems in other, larger cities. However, it's still a nice museum and a fun way to spend the afternoon browsing the latest exhibit or taking your children to the children's level. A great way to spend some free time and expose your children to the arts. more

Museum 12/28/2005

The Grace Museum is a pretty nice place. I have been there a few times and always find something interesting. It is not a big museum, but in a small place like Abilene, this is a good place to visit. It can't compare to the big museums in the big cities, but for Abilene, it is a great place. I do recommend it if you are looking for a family activity! more

Cool place to visit 9/21/2005

The Grace Museum is a decent museum for Abilene. They usually have pretty good exhibits. It doesn't compare to museums in bigger cities but for Abilene, it's a nice place to take your kids or just to spend the afternoon there. They have a really neat section for the children. more
