Challenging Course 4/11/2013

Moved here recently from PA and I have played other golf courses in the area and by far Wescott is the most challenging course. Fairway bunkers are well placed no matter what tees u play from. Greens are big, fair and fast. Also no adjacent holes, each hole is pretty much the only hole u see. Price is also better than most courses in the area especially membership costs. Wescott also has great practice facilities with its 27 hole facility. more

Friendly Staff 1/21/2013

This staff at Westcott is the friendliest, most professional and most courteous staff I have ever experienced in the 13 years I've been shanking chip shots. I am always greeted at the counter, the staff ALWAYS has something nice to say, and I really feel like this is MY golf course. I do plan on renewing my membership in February. My 2013 goal: break 90! Thank you very much for making my first year at Westcott truly fantastic! more

I LOvE THE PLACE 12/20/2012

I always loved the 27 hole concept, as you have a different 28 each time you play and at Westcott, the level of difficulty increases with each 9. Westcott brings a lot of quality attributes to the table, interesting combination of doglegs, over water carries, continuous tree flanked fairways, uniquely placed bunkers, long carries off the back tee's, etc, this track is sure to bring out every club in your bag. more

The Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA) is committed to providing scholarships to Charleston-area High School graduates pursuing degrees in Math, Science, and Engineering the monies to support these scholarships are raised exclusively through two Golf Tournaments held semi-annually at Wescott Plantation Golf Course. The staff at Wescott is nothing short of fantastic, they are true partners with AFCEA in our mission to fund education. Our tournaments are among the must-attend; events each year and that is in large part due to the wonderful accommodations and treatment we receive as provided by Wescott Golf Course and Staff. Thanks for making my job so easy! more

They had been wonderful and pretty accomidating, not to mention an awesome cost for my wedding and reception. It was terrific getting married outside after which walking inside for food and fun and dancing! more

Good Course 10/4/2011

Nice course...difficult from the guidelines! Fairways, greens and bunkers in great shape. Greens fairly substantial and require accurate placement when you care to score...though they roll a bit slow. Worth the fee and your time...would surely play once again. more
