The Golden Voice

There was a waiting list to get it. But after 60 days of torturous waiting. . . I got in. It was probably the best thing that ever happened to me. I always wanted to be a pop star but never knew what to do besides hustle around LA which of course is so frustrating. After several years of trying to get the right producer who would help me make a demo and then having bad things happen I was just over it, and had no demo. Then I heard about Aria. My friend called her ""The Voice Whisperer"". A couple months of training and my voice was significantly better. I thought, wow, I'm getting good fast, thank God! A couple more months of training in addition to TGV Consulting & Artist Development and I am on my way. I now have 3 songs almost finished that I am really proud of, created by The Golden Voice producers. Basically I have a completed demo that I can shop to Major Labels, and it's major label quality. I feel like I saved so much time by dealing with a professional. Aria showed me the shortcuts with my voice, and the shortcuts in the industry, and her team produced some killer tracks, co-written by me which is cool. I am so happy. If you are someone who wants to learn more than just how to sing, but wants to actually get signed to a record label, go to Golden Voice with Aria. Aria is absolutely incredible! In an hour she gave me tons of invaluable information. I learned so many voice techniques and she gave me a great voice workout regimen to use while out of town. When I move to LA, I will DEFINITELY be going back to her. Not only is she a great teacher, but she is super sweet and makes the session so fun! My daughter has always loved singing and has told me she wanted to be a pop star since she was about 5 years old and she is now 9. I wasn't really sure how much talent she actually had versus me thinking she's the greatest because she's my little girl. So I bought a months worth of singing lessons at The Golden Voice with Aria Johnson just to see if there was anything there. In the first lesson Aria was able to make us both feel really comfortable even though my daughter did have to audition. I thought it was cool how Aria doesn't take every client because then I knew I could trust her. She taught my daughter how to breathe properly for singing, which is apparently different from normal breathing and I noticed an instant result with how she sounded. We had a lot of fun at the lesson and have continued to go back every week for 6 months now. The bottom line is that my daughter has never been happier and now we have an actual shot at her dream of making it as an singer coming true. I have also been using Aria as a consultant which has come in very handy. Aria has helped me navigate the industry so I can figure out what to do next for my daughter as far as having a career. As a result, we just got an agent a few weeks ago who thinks we can get her booked easily and we will be recording a demo early next year. Even if your kid isn't trying to become a pop star, but just loves music, I would highly recommend working with Aria. She has a knack for teaching kids how to sing, and more importantly they enjoy every second of it. more

I bought a few lessons through a lifebooker coupon I had found and just wanted to try to learn a few techniques to improve my singing and songwriting skills, I left with so much more. Aria personalizes every lesson based on your ability and goals. She not only made me aware of my vocal range but has also helped me improve this range and it has completely changed the way I sing. I used to think I was not a very good singer but with the tools she gave me I am 100% more confident now. She has also helped me with my songwriting and gives genuine feedback. Working with her is almost like therapy for me, I was so shy singing in front of a stranger at first but she makes you feel so comfortable and is encouraging at the same time. I recommend her to anyone trying to improve their music ability she will really change your life!! more

I got 3 singing lessons as a birthday gift so my lessons were very limited. I loved Aria's method of teaching, it was very practical. One of the biggest hurdles was getting comfortable and singing in front of a complete stranger. Aria has a very warm, patient, easy going, fun personality which helped put me at ease. She initially had me sing a few songs to evaluate my abilities (none) and then had me work on a song of my choice. Instead of boring you with music theory, she breaks down the song for you and teaches you techniques along the way. Its a great way to learn especially since its a song you picked yourself. If you are not musically inclined Aria will translate complicated singing theories to something easy for you to understand. The techniques are simple but effective. Aria makes sure you remember the techniques by having you repeat it over and over even after you've gotten it right. It worked! I still remember all the techniques she taught me when l practice singing in my recording studio (my car and shower) every day . I wish I had more time with her to work on a few more advanced techniques. It would have been nice if she had a way to record each lesson so you can hear yourself improve. I tried recording off my phone but the quality sucked. I had no experience at all and ZERO natural talent when I first started. At least now, I have some experience (and still zero talent). Hopefully my singing is slightly more tolerable then before. more

Honestly, training and working with The Golden Voice has completely changed my life. I moved to Los Angeles two years ago and had know clue how to manifest my dreams. I?ve always been a singer but it wasn?t till I started working with Aria and her team that I feel like I became a true artist. Not only did she help me get to the next level with my voice, but she helped me drastically improve my songwriting, and taught me the business of the music industry. Aria's team helped me put together my original music and press pack all in the period of less than a year. I am in a production deal and we are in talks with a major label right now and am feeling really good about it. I don't know if I would have ever got to this point with out my voice lessons over the last year, and my awesome press pack. Thank you Aria for helping make my dreams come true. more

I've never had a vocal coach b so thorough with me. i started out as a beginner but now I sound like a pro. Aria taught me 2 belt like Christina Aguilera, then bring it down soft like Colbie Callait. been acing a lot of auditions lately and just got booked 2 sing/act in a Disney show! My dream is 2 B a pop star that can really sing well & I am so much closer 2 my dream. My voice coach she taught me how 2 breathe rite, then how 2 use voice technique like the stars do. She taught me 2 do triplets, and runs, delayed vibrato, fry's and 2 swing my voice when I need 2. i feel like I have SO much more control than I did when I first started with Aria a year ago when i was 16 then. I recommended her 2 any1 who wants to sing like a real star. more
