The Goddard School

I do not recommend this school to anyone. There are plenty of much better choices out there for where to send your children. My daughter went to this school for two years until she was old enoughto send to a much cheaper preschol that boasted similiar curriculum. My daughter immediately began learning so much more than she ever did at the goddard school. She has always been a very bright little girl. She went to the goddard school all day for several days a week; when switching to a 12 hour a week preschool- they taught her immensely more. They also change staff there so much that you can barely keep it all straight. Staff is contantly leaving and being replaced without a word ever said to you. Even when the employee remains there; they switch classrooms about every week again without any word to you about it.When I took a tour at this location they boasted long term employees, as it turned out they were worse in longevity there than any other school I have seen. I then went on to find out towards the end of our time at the goddard school that the staff at this location are irresponsible all the way up to the owner; they fail to simply do their jobs. more

My child has been going to the Goddard School for the past 7 months and she and I love it! She comes home everyday and has several stories about fun activities she does everyday. I get a copy of the lesson plans each day so I can see all the different skills she is learning along with personal comments from her teacher. It is nice to know that they take the time to keep me informed on her day while I am at work! more

I love this school and the teachers for all their hard work!! My daughter is 4 and comes home everyday extremely happy and I love that she is having fun and learning at the same time! I get a daily report of what she has learned and priceless comments about what she has said throughout the day! If you are looking for people who really care and understand what it takes to help children grow and learn this is the right place! more

Picking a daycare/preschool is hard! From my tour to first drop off with my two year old, everything has been great at The Goddard School. Everyone is so friendly and you can tell the teachers don't just need to be there to earn a paycheck but they want to be there to take care of your children and teach them and play with them and love them. I'm about to have another child and I know that my new baby will be in such good hands in the Infant room. I honestly couldn't be happier and neither could my child. more

I absolutely love this school! Every time I go I am met with smiles from the staff. The building is very bright, clean, and secure! It is evident that the kids love it as well from the hugs they give the owners. If you looking for the best in child development for your child this is the place. I highly recommend it to anyone and stop by for a tour! more

I remember the first day I met Cathi, (the Owner), it was that hectic time right before Christmas, not the kind of time you have to be interviewing nannies and in home daycare providers. That was three years ago, when Ava was four months old, and although we had placed her with a family friend who had her own in home facility, Ava wasn?t thriving. Many days I would pick up and drop off, only to find her in the same exersaucer. She was being cared for but not to the level that she deserved. \r \r Cathi assisted me immediately, she made changes within her organization to make it work. After, the first week of attending the Noblesville Goddard School, my husband said that the children will never go anywhere else. Peace of mind was a biggie for us. Ava was engaged in activities instead of placed in front of a television. \r \r My husband and I have always agreed that the benefits of the Goddard School outweigh out of pocket costs. The projects and experiences Ava has been involved in at Noblesville Goddard cannot be replicated in my home, via mommy or nanny. I know, I?ve tried.\r \r Noblesville Goddard, is not just a pre-school, it?s a community. My husband and I are transplants to the area. Cathi was on call throughout my pregnancy with Ava?s twin sisters. Cathi and her staff have served as valuable resources when handling with childhood behavioral issues as well. \r \r How many toys are laying around your house not being played with? What return do you get on those kind of investments? I knew I made the right decision when my grandfather said, ?That must be some daycare Ava goes too!? The man doesn?t pass out compliments. My stepmother said, ?You are spoiling her wisely.? My family has been with the Goddard School in Noblesville for 3 years and we LOVE IT!! I never thought I would find people that love and care for my children up to my standards. They exceed those standards everyday and i could not ask for more. Educated, professional teachers, available friendly office staff, healthy snacks, excellent curriculm, fanatstic parent/teacher communication....It does not get better than the Goddard School in Noblesville! Truly, we do not know where to start we have so many positive things to say. On the first day that we walked into the school we felt a very warm, comfortable atmosphere, very important to us. You know the feeling you get when you just know something is right? Well that is the feeling we had the moment that we walked in the door. The professional yet loving staff made us feel right at home with our 3 year old little boy. We were looking for a school that gave him wonderful opportunities to be creative, learn many different things and to be taught in a fun but structured environment. He started in the Get Set room and was potty trained in no time. Watching our little boy learning and opening up to new things was an awesome feeling to my husband and I. In a very short time our little boy began using Spanish and Sign Language. He was doing puzzles, drawing and expressing himself through art and music. The teachers in the Pre-1 room are fantastic, the most patient ladies and were wonderful with all of the children! Loved the ?Summer Camp? last year, and now in Pre-II.\r To sum things up, my husband, little boy and I were sitting at our table eating dinner one evening and my husband asked ? Why did we choose The Goddard School in Noblesville for our sons Pre-School ? In the meantime, our son counted to 10 in Spanish, counted to 30, said his ABC?s and used sign language to say ?please? and ?thank you? at the dinner table. At that point, I looked at my husband and said ?That is why we chose The Goddard School in Noblesville?. \r We are very pleased at the progress our son has made and we know that with him attending the Goddard School we have opened up many avenues of learning for him. In this day and age our children need to be provided every chance we can give them to grow and learn. I have been a mom at this Goddard School since 2003 when they first opened. My children have flourished under their care. Their program is excellent, the teachers are dedicated, and most importantly they ask for my input and suggestions. I am an extremely demanding person when it comes to my children. While other preschools / daycares proclaim to know everything about what children need, this school admits that every child is unique and that no one knows it all! As a parent I find it refreshing that they are extremely open and honest about their program and what my children do every day. If they don't know the answer they will research and find an answer. They ask for my input - not just for the benefit of my children but for all the the children. What I think is important to them - my opinion matters! How refreshing is that?! When we first enrolled the school had only been open a couple of months. Over the past 5 years there have been been times when I was concerned about something that had happened or was not happening - and every time I took my concern / issues to their attention they genuinely listened. When they make a mistake, as happens in every business from time to time, they admit they made a mistake and correct the situation immediately. I have never seen teachers so excited to see my children every morning, so dedicated to their safety and education, or who genuinely love my children! When I pick them up at the end of the day, they are glad to see me, but they don't want to leave just yet cause they are having too much fun! If you want a preschool that puts the children first in every aspect, that have an endless supply of love and hugs, that teach from real lesson plans, and lets you know how much they value you... then this is where you need to be. more
