This school is all about making money and keeping the parents happy, even if that means not disciplining the children. There is no discipline at this school, and the kids can roam...

I cannot say enough about how wonderful the Goddard School at Littleton is. Both of our daughters attend and they learn so much. It is a school and not just a daycare center where it is really just some place to take your kids for babysitting. They learn spanish, sign language, science, etc. There is a low-turnover rate for the teachers. THe teachers, directors and Owner all communicate with the parents on a regular basis. Each parent even has his/her own mailbox in addition to a folder in the classroom for routine papers. There is a parent organization so that parents can be more involved in their child's school. The organization hosts a fall festival, summer picnic, speakers, etc. The Owner, Mandy, is very flexible and easy to get along with. I had one of my daughters in two other daycare centers before switching her to The Goddard School and I wish she had been there from the beginning. more

One of a Kind School 7/19/2011

This is a one of a kind school. I've researched and worked in day cares prior to sending my child to Goddard. She has been there over 2 years and has enjoyed all her teachers and classrooms she has been in. Soon I will have two children enrolled and feel confident that they are getting the best care while they are there. more

Great people - great place! 3/9/2011

A really great environment and fantastic people. I have two kids enrolled. They get excited to go to school everyday. I'm impressed with the communication between owner, teachers and parent. It's a world of difference from Jordan Alexanders preschool just blocks away. I'm sorry we didn't enroll at Goddard from the beginning. more

This school is all about making money and keeping the parents happy, even if that means not disciplining the children. There is no discipline at this school, and the kids can roam free doing whatever they want. I would never put my kid in this school and I wouldn't recommend this school to anyone. more

Goddard School is a great Preschool 9/29/2009

Both of my kids went to Goddard for preschool. We were very pleased with their curriculum, especially the science, spanish and music. Both of my kids learned great foundations for reading. When we experienced staff changes (which seems to happen everywhere), it was well communicated without a decrease in teacher talent. We knew that getting a good preschool would cost more money than just getting daycare, but it was money well spent that we are still seeing the benefits from. It was worth every dime! more

Poor choice - 2/5/2009

Not a good choice. Daycare is "good" but poor in terms of preschool, pre-K, and Kindergarten - not a real school. They are all about making money for the owner and that's the bottom line - your child is a just a number to them, and they want to make their full numbers. Teacher turnover is very, very high, and the staff is inconsistent. One director is extremely difficult. Had both my kids there, but should have pulled them out sooner than I did (hindsight is 20/20). For the money you spend you're better off with a nanny. more

Clean, friendly...happy kids! 8/21/2005

Our daughter loved her "school"-she was there for two years and overall, we had a great experience. Some of the rooms were a bit small but the teachers really seemed to keep order in the cramped rooms. The turnover wasn't as bad as I've heard of in other daycares. The staff genuinely seemed to love the kids, and my daughter learned quite a lot while she was there. more
