The Goddard School

Approximately 1 year after my child had been attending the Goddard School, i spoke to one of the owners regarding when they would actually start preparation for kindergarten. My child played with dolls daily (all day), the room was in a state of chaos, and my child was learning very little. That question led to my child being kicked out of Goddard for no cause. I took my child to another highly regarded preschool less than a mile away where my child has gotten overwhelmimgly great results. Results so good that we will attend their private kindergarten instead of public. This Goddard school is just a franchise with no accountabilty for whether or not they actually educate/ prepare your child for school or their future. more

As a parent of two children who attend the Goddard School on Krause Road I feel compelled to respond directly to the parent who was so dissatisfied. My oldest son completed his Preschool year and has entered his Pre-K year at this school. The teachers in my son?s former class, (the Jellyfish Class) hold degrees from reputable Universities or Colleges. In addition they fulfill annual, continuing education requirements through a variety of resources. My son has absolutely flourished in this environment! The knowledge he has obtained is phenomenal and I owe it all to the wonderful faculty at The Goddard School on Krause Rd. The best part about the school is the philosophy of learning through play. My son loves attending school and he loves learning. He often plays ?school? at our home, which further demonstrates how much he loves this enriching environment. I chose this school because of all the great things I had heard about Goddard School and was influenced by the wonderful media information as well. I regret heavily my decision to allow my child to attend Goddard School Krause Road. My child learned very little. The motivation to do anything but play has decreased tremendously. My child has since been placed in another very reputable school where there is a guarantee in learning development and assurance of quality teaching across the board. The Goodard school is only as good as the teacher and Krause road Goddard has very few quality teachers. Preschool- pre kindergarten age children are at thier most impressionable ages. Don't sacrifice your childs learning developmnent by attending Goddard-Krause Road and losing one or more of those very precious years. more

We absolutely LOVE The Goddard School @ Krause Road!!! During our first visit we knew this school was the right place for our daughter?. That was seven years ago :~) We now have two children enrolled & still love it!! The Goddard School has awesome teachers and the owners are simply wonderful. \r \r The pre-K program is remarkable! Our daughter was set-up for success. She is now in 4th grade & her academic performance is fantastic. Our son is three and we are ecstatic that he is receiving the same opportunity to excel. \r \r We are forever grateful for the dynamic, caring, & educational environment provided by The Goddard School family. more

We are extremely impressed and pleased with the teachers, facilities, and owners at the Goddard School located at Krause Road. We have three children who have attended Goddard since they were infants. I can't imagine sending my children anywhere else!!! more

The Goddard School is the best thing that has happened to our family. Our children have been attending Goddard on Krause Road for 3 years now and we love it! \r We feel the school is a wonderful teaching facility that not only provides an education for your child, but also creates a strong community foundation for you and your family. We are very pleased with the care and curriculum that they teach daily. The staff and owner are very personable and if you ever have any issues the door is open. I understand the complaint of price, but you really do get what you pay for. And what you get at this Goddard school is top notch! more

We looked at other daycares before looking at Goddard and I was prepared to be unimpressed. A daycare is a daycare is a daycare. But as soon as I walked in the doors, I could tell that this one was different. The kids were so much more engaged at this daycare, more alert, more interested in us, more active. The teachers were more interactive with the kids and seemed more interested in getting down on the floor with the kids then just "babysitting". In the three years our daughter has been at Goddard, she has learned so much and loves going to "school" everyday, and that's really how we think of it. Not as much of a daycare, but a learning environment. I wouldn't want her anywhere else. more

I'm not sure where to begin in describing how grateful I am to the Goddard School for all they have done for my children. \r My oldest child started at Goddard at close to 1 year of age. Previously, she had been at home with family and I was uneasy (to say the least) at the thought of 'daycare'. To make matters worse, my daughter was VERY slow to adjust and often times we had to leave her in tears. The care, patience, and love that the Goddard staff showed for my daughter (and me) in getting her through this time was truly amazing! They spent countless hours with her and would take the time to call me to let me know how she was doing. For that, I'll forever be grateful. \r Now, 2 years later, my oldest daughter LOVES her Goddard School and has gained a confidence that I know she wouldn't have without the help of the Goddard staff. \r We also have second child that has been at Goddard for over a year now and we are consistently impressed by her daily development. I highly recommen more

The Goodard School on Krause Rd continues to exceed my expectations. My children have been there since the doors opened. They take the term "school" literally. I wondered how much one can do to educate infants to Pre-K. It's about creating age appropriate activities in a loving environment. \r \r I always know my children are safe and loved while in their care. They are equipped to handle any situation and have high standards for themselves. I never worry when my children are there.\r \r Both of my children were more than prepared for elementary school. They utilize the after-care program now which allows them to get their homework done in a controlled environment. It's a huge help for our busy schedules.\r \r If you are looking for a place for your children to grow and want the best for them, then this Goddard School is right for you! more

All 3 of my children attend the Goddard School at Krause Rd. My older children have been extremely well prepared for Kindergarten, and love there preschool teachers so much they go back to visit them. \r \r Our baby is thriving in the nurturing environment the staff at Goddard provides. We toured many facilities and no where compares to this Goddard. We consider them family and there is NO WHERE else we would ever send our children! more

The Goddard School at Krause Road is absolutely the best place to send your children if you are a working mom. Both my children have been in Goddard since they were infants and I have not worried about them one day. The teachers and staff look out for the children as if they are their own. \r \r My oldest son was well prepared to attend kindergarten and I attribute that to the Goddard curriculm that has been passed down from the franchise. More importantly, the teachers and staff at Krause Road have the skills to execute the curriculm goals so that each of the children reach their potential. Next year my baby will be going to kindergarten and I am confident that he will be prepared just like his brother was five years ago.\r \r I can't believe it has been 9 years but I have been at the school since the doors opened. The day that both my children are too old to attend Goddard will be a sad day for me.\r \r Your childs education is your best investment! more

The Goddard School Krause Road is just a name. They deliver very little on what they promise in their handbook. It is a joke. If you just want to say your child attends the Goddard school, then go. If you want to feel great about putting your child's most formative years in The Goddard School's hands, I would strongly suggest you reconsider. With the help of my child's current teacher and our help at home, my child has finally caught up to where our child should be as compared to the kids in her class and the national average. Be aware, not all Goddard schools are created equal and your child's eduacation will only be a good as that Goddard School teacher. Good Luck. more

In comparison to the other centers in the area, you can expect to pay a few hundred more dollars per month for this preschool. They do have a state of the art facility with top notch security and offer a foreign language curriculum for their preschoolers. more
