There is no better way to experience Winterthur Museum and Gardens than to start with brunch or lunch at the Garden Cafeteria. They feature gourmet selections, daily panini specials, and an extensive salad bar. My wife and I and her family celebrated her graduation with their Sunday brunch. Although it's not cheap, you can't beat the view of the gardens or the delicious buffet spread of hot and cold foods. more

The Garden Cafeteria is a wonderful café on the Winterthur Estate. They feature several hot entrées daily, and they also have the best and most gourmet salad bar I've ever seen, ranging from buffalo mozzarella to grilled salmon chunks. Be sure to make reservations one Sunday for their Champagne brunch. In addition to the beautiful view of the glass-walled atrium, guests can enjoy made-to-order omlettes, waffles, and a variety of other delicious cuisine. Service is fantastic, and the obligatory mimosas are refilled quite often. It's a great way to start your visit to Winterthur! more
