I had hired them 6 months ago for a big job and had the same experience as Jayson. If you hire them, you will too. I had to hire someone to come in and strip my floors and start all over! Please do your research on the internet (not like our family!) they did half of the work and never showed up again. I took weeks off work and they never showed. They are being sued by many people and have lost their license.Don't believe me just look! more

Dave (owner) offers quality service and has superior knowledge about his products. His installation team is punctual, has superior craftsmanship, and works to please the customer. This company performed very well during the bidding, installation, finishing and follow up stages. We had both carpet and wood flooring installed in our home and the final product of both were excellent. We were referred to Finishing Touch by a close friend and we will always be loyal customers and have and will refer this family owned company to our friends and acquaintances with complete confidence.  After a severe slab leak we were discouraged with our search for the right company for  flooring replacement.  And then we were introduced to Finishing Touch. Dave Johnson's son, Donovan, immediately put us at ease and sent us home with several flooring samples to try out.  He visited our home 3 times to help in our selection.  Dave, Donovan and the Finishing Touch team replaced over 1,000 square feet of hardwood floor in our kitchen and den with minimal disruption.  The result was so beautiful that we had Finishing Touch replace the remainder of our downstair's flooring, including a slate entry way......a real show stopper. Everyone who visits our home comments on the beauty and richness of the hardwood floors and the elegance of our slate entry way. It is so comforting that in the days of Big-Box stores, online purchasing and other impersonal purchasing methods, to have personal relationships with trusted family businesses. This company is great and I love that it's a family business. They do great work and I recommend them to everyone. I only wish we had found them sooner...would have saved ourselves some money. The Best Flooring company in Orange County! I am a developer/investor of upscale real estate, And I would never refer someone or company if I didn't feel they should be referred. The finishing touch staff, makes the grade. They installed wood flooring in my personal home in Laguna Hill, using the best grade of materials and the finest craftsmanship! All of the work was done on time and at budget and I always knew what to expect each work day,which was great giving my business schedule. Even my dogs were glad to see their crew each morning! David and Donovan were great to work with. They were flexible in pricing, and my time schedule. My tile work is complete, and the task was difficult to say the least, but they flat out rose to the occasion. My wood floor are almost complete, needing only minor touch up, and they turned out very nice. They saved a 60 year old floor. They assure me that I will be 100% satisfied, and so far I give them 5 stars and two thumbs up. The owners will tell you anything to get your business. Dave and Donovan both, father and son, are dishonest. They ruined my VERY EXPENSIVE, 3/4"", solid, hand scraped, distressed, custom walnut floor. When it came to fixing the problems, they said they would fix ""some"" of them and the major problem I had, ""chatter marks"" which are ripples about every inch covering the entire floor, could not be fixed. When It came down to actually fixing it, they wouldn't return any calls, emails or wouldn't even call me when I went in and they said they would. They PROMISED"" that they would make the job right and we would be very satisfied customers. But nothing ever got repaired, the chatter marks, the foot print, right in the middle of the floor, the divot in my baseboards, all the way around the room from the workers sanding too close to the wall and cutting into the boards, the ""shadow edging"" which is the hand sander tilted on a slant to get closer to the wall and ""digging a trench."" This is all in addition to them flattening out my beautiful hand scraped floor. I made it perfectly clear before I hired them, that I wanted to keep my hand scraping. Donovan said they would lightly sand it and it would still exist. It was ruined!!! Never got anything fixed, not even the footprint. more
