It would have been a much more enjoyable experience if my service wouldn't have had multiple interuptions by other staff members attempting to schedule someone elses appointment. ...

Small, Friendly Spa 8/12/2011

The services there are a little limited as compared to their other locations, but the staff here are friendly and welcoming and the quality is equal or better than other spas. I had a massage and European facial and re-booked on my exit. It was a lovely experience. more

Leanne did an excellent job 7/19/2011

I really enjoyed my experience this time around. The bed was preheated, music great, and ideal temperature in the room. The staff offered me drink and the masseuse asked me if I needed to use the restroom first and what areas need special attention on my body. This is the sort of customer service I live for and what makes me want to come back time and again. Sometimes the masseuse slacks off and I get a little disappointed but not this time around. Great job Leanne! more

My mother and I visited The Face & Body Spa yesterday for a massage and facial. It was the most relaxing visit I think I have ever had. MC and Leighanna were the best! My only problem is trying to fit in my schedule another visit.... more

massage 7/11/2011

I have chronic spasm issues and used to see Stephanie for trigger point and deep tissue work until she went another career path. Since then I've seen Dawn who was very good, and yesterday saw Krista who was excellent! If you want or need some serious deep tissue and trigger point work Krista is your girl!! more

Very diappointed 6/26/2011

Setting up the appointment I was given a hard time about "squeezing" me in, however when I got there it was empty. And I still had to wait up to 1/2 hr between services even though I saw people standing around chit chatting. I only gave it a 2 because of the pedicure, the rest of my visit was disappointing. Began my visit by getting a robe that must be made for a size 0. Get a clue people, most average women are size 10 and up. The message therapist did not listen to the areas I wanted worked and as a result she messed up my back to the point I couldn't get off the table without intense pain. The facial was a waste of time. 1/4 of my hour the technician left the room and I just laid there. The other 45 min she didn't do anything above and beyond what I do at home. I didn't feel as refreshed and glowing as I normal do after a facial. My face was soft but greasy. The pedicure was AMAZING! My technician was friendly and knew her stuff. This would be the only service I would go back for. more

Mani/pedi combo 6/25/2011

I enjoyed both the manicure and pedicure--especially the pedicure! I was disappointed, however, that one nail on my right foot chipped that afternoon. I didn't bump it or anything. It looked as though a stray nail "flake" (from when it was filed or buffed) was left on the nail; when I went to wipe the "spot" off my toe with my hand, a small piece of polish came off as well. It won't stop me from returning for a pedicure, but I will make sure that all "flakes" are removed before the polish is applied. more

First Time Facial 6/20/2011

Any time you get a facial at a new spa it can be a little scary because you dont know how this spa works, what products they use and things like that. Casey was excellent, i felt very relaxed after my facial and was pleased with the friendly service. more

Great service all around! Massage tech asked what I was looking for (deep tissue, full body etc.) She was a very experienced massage tech. The rest of the staff is friendly as well. They always offer something to drink beforehand and you get a cup of water after the massage. more

Fabulous Massages 6/12/2011

I'm so happy I found The Face & The Body Too. The massages by each person I've seen has been top notch. My favorites are Krista & LeeAnn, but I don't think you can go wrong. The service is great! I used to visit Massage Envy & Luxe, but the quality of the massages doesn't compare at all! more

Alex is a very talented massage therapist and always provided a level of care that I have not found anywhere else. In addition, because of Alex's presence in the spa it made men feel welcome. I was seeking a sports massage and found it with him. His work is a very important aspect of my overall well-being. Alex will be missed. In addition, Li also provides high quality care and service. She is very outgoing, talented, and focused on providing the best care possible. more

  • The Face & The Body Day Spa & Salon was founded in 1979 to fill a vital need for skin care in the St. Louis area. Years of research, travel and advanced training in esthetics led us to create a spa offering a variety of services: facials, make-up application and instruction, waxing, manicures and pedicures, herbal wraps and massage.

    As it grew, the The Face & The Body Day Spa & Salon expanded its service offerings, including a wider variety of specialized facials and body treatments. We created an innovative and effective "house brand" of skin care products and cosmetics, Sante, initiating an on-going dedication to providing clients with effective home-care products to maintain and enhance the benefits they receive from their spa services.
