I went to the Kershaw Salon for the first time today. Natalie did a great job with my keratin treatment and all the girls were very friendly. I usually hate getting anything done to my hair but they were great. I definately recommend this salon! more

Laurie Ryan - Plano's Best Hair Stylist 4/29/2012

After having many bad experiences with stylist in the past, I have finally found someone who knows exactly what they are doing. Laurie took my hair from a mess to perfect. She cut and colored my hair, gave me options on what would look good and was honest with me on some of my ideas before letting me make another mistake. Laurie, has many years of experience, from owning her own salon to coming to the big city now and having her own room with Evelyn Kershaw. I have never had so many compliments on my hair now that Laurie has been doing it for almost the last year. I have her email and FB account so I won't ever have crazy hair again! Check Laurie Out 2/21/2012

I just left the salon and had to share my experience with everyone. I found Laurie here on City Search and could not be happier, she is a top notch stylist and it is very obvious she has been doing hair for a long time. Laurie cut and colored my hair exactly like i asked her, and that's a hard thing to find these days. I already had someone tell me how much they loved my hair, now that's a good stylist. I have fairly difficult hair and have never really loved it, until now. Laurie was so easy to talk to and new just what I needed to make my hair work for me. The color is amazing and I can actually style it the same way she did when I left the salon. My searching for the best is over. Call Laurie today you will love her. more

Customer forever!!!! 8/11/2011

I have been a customer of Evelyns since june of this year and so far i am very happy. My first service was a smoothing treatment with Abby and I was very pleased. She is now my stylist and she is amazing and my highlights look awesome!!! The staff is always very friendly and they work as a team and all help each other and i really like that. This salon is the best one I have ever been to and I don't plan on going anywhere else. Keep up the great work girls!!!! All of yall rock!!!! Shari L. more

I have been a customer of Evelyns for about 8 years and never plan to leave. I went to her the first time to have her correct a horrendous nightmare color job I received at another salon and she totally made me over. She and her team will always do a terrific job and the salon is upbeat and fun. She is the best by far!! more

My co-worker told me about Evelyn Kershaw Salon. She has been going for years and absolutely loves it. After 10 years of going to the same salon, I was looking for something different. My appointment was with Lyndsay. I have to tell you, she is AWESOME!! I loved my cut and highlights. I will definitely be returning and I would highly recommend Lyndsay!\r \r more

Great Experience! 7/30/2010

Was apprehensive at first to come to salon. Was not sure they will make my hair as light as I prefer.\r My natural hair is dark dark..but , yes Evelyn did great job on my hair. I will go Back again and will tell friends to go there . \r I really like product she gave to me.\r Pros: Great Service..Nice atmosphere Cons: situated in a awkward place in center. more

I went there with completely blond hair. in fact so blond that I asked to get some "" low lights"". I ended up having solid dark brown hair with a few very brassy, orange poorly weaved high lights( I guess the color got into my blonds some how and made it orange). Evelyn did it her self and she is ""Platinum"" aka best level. She did admit that my hair was way too dark and high lights were ridiculously brassy( even after 40 minutes of toning) and that was not what I wanted. But went ahead and charged me $225 for it. I spent another couple of hundred $ in another salon to get it to look better which of course needed more bleaching to get the stupid orange out of my high light which means more damage to my hair. I am very upset. I wonder if the good reviews are for real???? Pros: good shampoo Cons: everything else more

Great Haircolor poor management 5/15/2010

I have been going to Evelyn Kershaw for over a year now, and the hair dressers have always done a great job on my hair. But, the management and scheduling is aweful! This is the third time that I made an appointment for a hair cut and color touch-up, everytime they confirm the appointment and tell me that everything is fine, I show up, my hair dresser is too busy to cut my hair. It is very frustrating. I discussed the issue with the owner and she started to lecture me about how busy the hair dresser is... hence why I made an appointment. I recommed finding another place that can get their scheduling right and a owner that understands customer service. Go somewhere else. \r Pros: Great stylists Cons: Poor management and scheduling more

Keratin Straightening Treatment- I LOVE MY HAIR!!!! 1/21/2010

I recently went to the Evelyn Kershaw salon for a keratin straightening treatment. OMG I am in love!!!! I just washed my hair for the first time this morning following the treatment waiting period. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the results. For the first time in my life- my thick, coarse, unruly hair was EASY & Quick to manage! I let my hair air dry for about 15 minutes than brushed it... No product was added and I used the hair dryer with my hands as the brush. No effort whasoever- straight and soft! No thought of even using a flat iron- that is a first!!!! My opinion- this is an amazing service I will definitely do again. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Unbelievable! more
