I love going to The Edge Tattoo. I've gone to two other places for some of my tattoos and neither place could compare. The staff here is absolutely wonderful and extremely helpful. Even if you do not have an appointment they are able to let you know how long it will be until they can fit you in. It is usually very soon (especially on weekdays, which I LOVE). It is a great place to get a tattoo or piercing done and I will not go anywhere else. It's a plus that the prices are fairly cheap, too! more

I love this place. I have gotten my last 9 tattoos done here. The artist are great, clean and knowledgeable. The shop has a comfortable, friendly appeal and I would recommend this place to anyone. Matter of fact, I have. I have reffered many friends and acquaintances to The edge and they thank me for it. A+++ more

I have gotten many tattoos done at the Edge Tattoo and their quality of work is top notch! They are very clean and great artists. I bring in a design and an idea and they make it look amazing every time. I highly recommend you give them a chance they will not let you down! more

I have been getting tattooed at The Edge at least once per year for the last 10 years. Also, have taken friends, girlfriends, and family for near fifty tattoos and probably several hundred piercings. This shop has always rocked, but the new look is AMAZING. Also, the artists may be better than ever. The custom work we saw at the Hartford Tattoo Convention was mindblowing, a frankenstein face in color with perfect soft details in the skin. The reviews below are to be taken with a grain of salt, but perhaps she does not know how to take care of a tattoo, that is why it sucked. All of the people I have gone with are clean, smooth, and on point with their requests more

This place is horrible you walk in the owner is nice and the place looks amazing inside. The tattoo that i ended up with not so amazing. I walked out with the most horrible tattoo i ended up with a deformed tattoo that every ones reaction to it would be what happened and where did you go? I am sure they lost a lot if potential clients after they saw the tattoo they let me know that they would let all their friends know not to go there. They honestly felt sorry for me since it was permanent. Well i got it fixed somewhere else and lesson learned never get a tattoo done without doing research on them first. It was my first tattoo so i was ignorant to what i should be looking for. I wish things would have been different but i am writing this for someone to be warned first before you go in there. I am sure that not all of them are bad artist just my luck the guy that i ended up with was. I talked to the manager of the place, turns out she was the mother of the owner. I asked her to at least give me some of my money back but all she could offer me was for someone else to try to fix it. No thanks after what i ended up with, I walked out. Then after much research i found one person out of many tattoo artist that was actually willing to fix it. The others just advised me to cover it up since it was so messed up. more

Not only that, but we did everything we possibly could to help, and in the end came to an agreeable outcome. Very disapointing!!! 5/28/2011

Went there today with my daughter to get memorial tattoos for my late sister. Had to travel from NH as she is not quite 18. Their web site boasts that ?They are not the rude, copy the flash, put the outline on, and scratch away tattoo bullies that are found in many parlors?. Unfortunately, that?s pretty much what they were. The ?artist? who did our tattoos was not very interested in working with us on a design, he pretty much copied a rough sketch we provided and did a sub-par job of performing the tattoo itself. Once the bandages were off, several hours later, we both noticed mistakes and omissions from the actual design. My tattoo looks so amateurish and crude that I am embarrassed to show it to anyone. Once it heals, I will go to a parlor up here to see if it can be fixed. If it can?t, I?ll cover it with a tribal and start from scratch. more
