this place is great. im not a fan of choped salad so u can ask for no chop. my favorite dressing out of like the 50 or so they have is the garlik vinigrt. superb. good variety good stuff. more

If you ever want a customized salad made especially for you, go The Dressing Room. I love all of the variety of toppings. But I hate that I can choose only 5. However, I love that everytime you go back you can make something different...the possibilities are endless! more

I enjoy being so picky about what I want in my salad that the average establishment would either project their saliva in my salad or tell me if I like it so specific, that I should make it myself. A custom order salad is the crux of The Dressing Room. The ingredients are so fresh and the staff couldn't be nicer. I spoke with the owner and he is a great guy with a wonderful vision. The Dressing Room is such a great spot for healthy, yummy, reasonalbly priced salads. I work just down the street and eat there at least once a week. I love the build it yourself menu which has so many options you could really make a new salad everytime you go! Ordering online makes it super convenient and everyone that works there is very friendly. Plus they send you coupons which is always a plus! Love Love Love the Dressing Room!!! YUM! This place was great. My dream come true. They have SO many options and you can create your own specialty salad. It is fast, healthy and really, really good. The owners were working and were really nice guys- they just opened the place and were asking questions about how they could better cater to customers etc. I wish I had one closer to my house and I would probably go almost every night. I would suggest paying heed to their allotted number of toppings... I got a little carried away (only because they had SO many good topping choices) and my salad became a bit pricey. If you stay within their one-price-salad you get a yummy, custom made salad for less than $6. I can't wait to go back. This place is great. I am telling everyone I know (and some I don't) about the dressing room. i found it randomly and am so glad that I did! My husband and I went there and were delighted with our "make-you-own" salad. I have been craving it every night since, so last night we went there again! We even saw a celebrity...so you know it must be good. Only $5.95 for the salad is amazing, when we would have been willing to pay much more! I don't even look at the menu-- I just head straight for the list of ingredients to make my own. Oh My God! I have found heaven and it's in Sherman Oaks. I tried The Dressing Room today and am going back for dinner tonight. Unbelievably good salads of every kind imaginable. The fruit salad with lime dressing popped with flavor I didn't know I could find in fruit. Everything is FRESH and DELICIOUS. Trust me, you will be very happy to take the trip to The Dressing Room! these salad places are all over the place in NYC - one on every block almost. having just moved to sherman oaks from there, i was surprised that there wasn't anything like this around. i am so happy to have a build-your-own-salad bar - it makes me that much less homesick! i love this place and recommend it to anyone that's looking for a place to eat. it's so fresh and the portion is perfect for a meal and the owner is super nice! it's a great lunch when it's so hot like it has been! very highly recommended!! Man...this place is dope! Mad fresh ingredience...I hooked up my very own invention...a BLT salad! Heirloom tomatoes, thick cut apple smoked bacon (order extra crispy!), chopped romaine hearts, garlicly crusty crutons.....mmmm....mmmmm...good! Don't foget the bacon dressing to kick it up! And I'm a salad expert I would like to think. I work close by and decided to try it out one day after hearing a great review from my coworker. I'm really glad I did! The restaurant is clean, which if you have been in that location before you know what a big deal that is. The veggies are fresh and the dressings are so creative! I am glad to see this restaurant up for best salad on City Search, (I thought it might be too early but look at all the people who think it's amazing already!) and I hope they get it. This is truly a 10. It is innovative, fresh in idea and concept and the food we'll discuss later! The owners, Don and his wife truly made this place unique and special. No two salads are really ever alike. There's no measuring spoon to make sure you only get one ounce or point something of an ounce, these portions are huge for the prices! It took me two meals to finish my salad and I didn't even have any meat in mine, it was just greens and veggies. THere are rows of items to choose from if you want to add items and the cost to add is less than a dollar for an item. The parking is not a problem as some may say, there is a parking lot behind the structure that has above and underground parking and The Dressing Room Validates Your Parking, so quit complaining and get in there and try a salad! I had my first one the other day and it was SOOOOO fresh that the flavor of the mix greens in the salad exploded in my mouth. The fruits, cranberries and blueberries, Kiwis . . . you name it. The have all kinds of crunchies, I chose the candied walnuts. There's indoor seating or outdoor seating. The girls that work there are extremely helpful and the place is clean as can be. I have been waiting for a fun, exciting, healthy place in the neighborhood and I am so pleased The Dressing Room is here. There is no doubt in my mind I will be seeing more of them.
