The Dog House

I was coming back from Pennsylvania on the way to SC, and needed to board my 2 dogs for a couple of days while visiting friends in Salisbury. I chose The Dog House and couldn't have been happier. It's obvious the owners and staff not only love animals, but understand them. Peggy Sue and Mr. Biff had a wonderful time and were very content when I picked them up. Whenever I'm in the area, this will be my dog's home away from home. more

I needed to board my great dane "Alley" and The Dog House was recommended to me.I hated to leave her as I never left her with strangers before.When I walked in to The Dog House it was very clean and the woman that was there was very professional.She offered me a tour of the place and I was impressed with everything(indoor/outdoor runs,heating and a/c).I left Alley in confidence.Well ,months later I needed to board her again but with only one day notice..the kennel was full! Janet recommended another kennel to me but with much concern in her voice said"make sure you tell them Alley has to be walked regularly because she won't use the bathroom in her run".I could not believe that after she had Alley only one time and months had gone by that she would remember her and her habits ! At that point I knew she was an animal lover and her Kennel was a very caring and safe place.I always recommend them to everyone looking for a good kennel! more
