So far I have not been disappointed in the food at The Delectable Egg. I?ve had the eggs Benedict, and the basic ham & eggs breakfast and they have been wonderful. My friend had the godfather omelet and enjoyed it very much. I will be back, early and often. Pros: Good service Cons: Longer wait times on the weekends. more

Get the pancakes 4/29/2007

I went here on a Thursday around noon with my friends from Chicago before they departed on a plane. The service was very friendly and our food came out quickly. We went for breakfast and were happy that we could also mix and match items besides ordering regular items. I ordered the pancakes with hashbrowns and bacon. The pancakes were melt-in-your-mouth good! Pros: good breakfast, fast & friendly service, located in a nice area of town more

Wonderful customer service 3/13/2007

The Delectable Egg in the Lowery shopping center is a wonderful place for both breakfast and lunch. The staff is very friendly and the food comes out incredibly fast. I had the early riser skillet and it was perfectly cooked and filled me up all day. It's a great place for business lunches. They have lots of parking even on Saturday and Sunday. I would highly recommend it. Pros: great service Cons: coffee is a little weak more

Horrible Customer Service 1/25/2007

We went to the one on 120th and Zuni, were sat down and waited over 10 minutes. We felt like idiots since we were surrounded by people and yet NO waiter even stopped by to take our order or EVEN ask us what we wanted for drinks. Of course all the waiters LOOKED at us, but didn't BOTHER to ask if we've been helped. It was ridiculous, we got up and left. I told the hostess of not only the rude service but the NON-Existent service. I don't recommend this 'neighborhood friendly' restaurant unless you want to be P*ssed off. more
