Great authentic Indian food!! 8/4/2010

The sights, the smell, and most importantly the taste transported me right back to India. The food is delicious and very authentic. I live 40min away, and I've been back 2 times in the past month... once for the lunch buffet and once for the dinner menu. I can't wait to go back and try more foods off the dinner menu with my husband. I loved the variety of the food choices and the prices are terrific. If you love Indian food or if you just want to give Indian a try, the Curry Pot is the place to come to!! more

Yummy Indian Food! 8/3/2010

Can I say YUMMY? If you love Indian food (especially you vegetarians out there), you gotta try this place. Their saag (spinach) dish is to die for, and so is their dosa. The waitstaff actually talked me into trying the dosa (I had never had it before)..is like a thin, crispy crepe stuffed with potatoes and peas and other seasonings. You dip it in a chutney and sauce, and just melts in your mouth. The service was good, my water was always refilled, and they served complementary mango lassi's to my boyfriend and me. DELICIOUS!\r \r Price was good - even with appetizers, you wont break the bank when you walk out. I am definitely going back!! more

Great Indian Food in Plano 8/2/2010

I am not a lover of Indian food, but a friend of mine suggested we meet there for lunch - its down the street from her office. I was very surprised how much I loved the food! They do have a buffet for $6.99 during the week at lunch time - which is very affordable and the food was fresh, I did notice the staff checking on the buffet and replenishing dishes when they needed to be. Great place overall! Pros: Great Indian Food more
