We got a call two weeks after we moved out, the manager said that we hadn’t given 60 days notice and that we had one more month left on our lease and said we were late - then threatened to sue us. I called them back several times to offer to pay the months rent they said was due in order to fulfill the lease agreement – although none of the office staff could be bothered faxing or mailing us a copy of the last lease. No call back from any of the numerous managers and then they sent us a bill for $6,262.13. They not only charged me for the month of rent to fulfill the lease, they also charged $307.50 for the keys we already gave them, $2,562.50 for breaking the lease (we only lived there 17 months) and then they prorated the rent back 5 month and billed me $934.80 for a Concession Chargeback.
