Boutique hotel in prime location on the water at one end of Cliff Walk -- gorgeous rooms and great concept. But they need to get their act together. Some of the staff were fantastic -- my boyfriend and I checked-in after the kitchen had closed for the night and the valet went into town and brought burgers back for us. Others were terrible -- two forgotten wake-up calls, ludicrously arrogant restaurant manager wouldn't let us sit in the dining area for 1/2 hour of drinks at 5pm even though there were 17 open tables, no room service menus (and two out of four items were wrong when the order showed up), forgot to clean and make-up our room one day. The amenities and service should be seamless given the high price tag and the hotel's great potential, but the inconsistencies make for a disappointing experience.
